Don’t burn yourself out. Breathe. Things take time. Be consistent. Be YOU. Jump on trends but don’t copy! You’re unique and that’s why they’ll love you.
1. Tell us about your background and journey.
Born and brought up in the culturally rich city of Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. Ma tells me I used to stop crying as a baby whenever she used to sing to me, so from the young age of 4 I started training.
School life was mostly extracurricular with a lot of love for poetry, language and economics. I studied Sound engineering, completed Hindustani classical vocals and then western.
2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?
I decided I wanted to create content in the lockdown! I could see people scared, worried; hopeless about the current situation. I started singing on reels, speaking in allahabadi dialect about mental health and women’s issues.
3. Is vlogging and YouTube content creation a financially sustainable career?
It can be I am sure, though being a singer-songwriter, I focus on content creating as well as my music. Brands are yet to understand the amount of effort we put into gaining the trust of our followers.
4. Who is your favourite creator and why?
@glamnailsbyritu is a budding influencer and a professional nail artist. Her art is unique and very intricate. I respect her a lot for being independent and working hard in the lockdown and making women feel powerful with pretty nails!

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?
I love to watch other creators, sometimes maybe jump on trends but do them with the ‘Sanskriti tadka’. Honestly, I dream about interesting content! Reels help them make into reality!
6. What does your typical day look like?
Beating MS, I need ample rest, sleep and recovery. As much as I want to stick to a schedule, every day is different. Some days I feel encouraged and enthusiastic wherein some days I get a creators block.
I think it’s common with everyone. Playing and cuddling with my dogs is a DAILY practice.
7. Which is your favourite book and why?
Harry Potter series. Made me believe in magic as a growing child. And well who hasn’t waited for the letter from Hogwarts?
8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?
Don’t burn yourself out. Breathe. Things take time. Be consistent. Be YOU. Jump on trends but don’t copy! You’re unique and that’s why they’ll love you.
