1. Tell us about your background and journey.
I grew up in Jacksonville Florida. I was born on February 18th, 1998. All my life, I’ve had a passion for art in all forms. When my parents would finally give me the go-ahead, was when I started modeling in 2014. A couple of years after, I began to work as a content creator. I’m currently living in LA and loving life.
2. What led you to start your page on Instagram?
I started my Instagram to share my modeling journey and it has turned into something deeper, now I share my life and story with others through Instagram and love building connections with my followers.
3. Do you think that there will be a new style statement or fashion obsession with the new normal? If so what would be your choice and why?
New fashion statements are popping up daily. I have a cute little dinosaur bag, I named him Tyrone. I plan on starting to sell duplicates of him soon as merch, so I’m hoping cute little dinosaur purses will catch on and be the new fashion obsession. I think purses are so much fun and are something you should be creative with.
4. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
Success is happiness. If you’re happy, then you’re successful. My mantra in life would be to go full force and give it everything you got. You’ll never want to look back at the life and think “well, maybe if I had tried harder”. Try your hardest now, so even if it doesn’t work out, you know deep down in your heart, you gave it you're all.
5. Do you have any tips for people who want to join this field?
If you’d like to be a content creator, I think the most important thing to do is to stay consistent, and never work for free products. You deserve to be paid. If you’d like to be a model, I’d reevaluate because honestly, it sucks.
The modeling industry is unstable and strict but if that’s what you’re really passionate about, you should reach out to photographers and get a lot of practice in, build a portfolio, and then set up meetings with different agencies.
6. Which is your favorite book and why?
I loved reading Alice in wonderland. It was such a magical book. Other than that, I’ve recently been reading Don Quixote with my boyfriend at night, and it’s been such a lovely bonding experience. We just giggle at each other until we fall asleep. Probably the most fun I’ve ever had reading a book.
