As a Foodie its very hard to say about one particular dish, there are 100s of dishes that I love.
1. Tell us about your background and journey.
I am Anilavo Bose, Kolkata based content creator, Food Blogger & Food Photographer. I am 25, MBA graduate and working Professional.
I have been a travel freak and what I prefer is countryside for the same with my backpack and DSLR, I love to capture their lifestyle, food and more. During the lockdown, I started uploading the contents of my travel food, then homemade food and street food.
2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?
As a Foodie its very hard to say about one particular dish, there are 100s of dishes that I love and will reveal some in this interview. My most preferred cuisine has always been Bengali, but after trying Thai, that's also in my list.
I love trying different types of curries and Bengali and Thai cuisine has always been the best in it. My favorite is not a particular dish, but a meal, which is a Bengali comfort meal as well and it includes ghee infused steamed rice, dal and crisp fried potato (alu bhaja).
3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?
For me, food blogging is a free time comfort, a way to discover and express the beauty of food through the camera.
I will always keep it as a hobby beside my 9 to 5 job.
4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?
Street stalls and Pice Hotels are what I love the most, it's cheap and wholesome. Some cheap street food hotspots that food lovers must visit.

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?
As a I am Bengali and resident of Kolkata, Cantonese Chinese food is very close to my heart, I love visiting Teretti bazaar for some authentic Chinese food and I think Pork in Hamei sauce from Tung Nam is the ultimate dish I had, it's their signature dish, spicy, saucy and flavorful.
6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?
I am kind of reserved person in the first impression, but once you get to know me, I think I am quite friendly and fun-loving person just like Ilish paturi wrapped in banana leaf but the best part is inside.
7. Which is your favourite book and why?
My all-time favorite book is "My India" by hunter-naturalist Jim Corbett. I love because The country and its people are very well depicted in very straightforward language. I liked the way Uttarakhand and its local culture was portrayed.
