Star Kids Who Failed as a Star in Bollywood
Bollywood is connected to every Indian in some or the other way.
People are equally interested in reel as well as real life of their favorite celebrities.
Nowadays, if we see in Bollywood , actors are either talented or star kids.
Nepotism exists in Bollywood with its roots deep inside it.
But Nepotism only supports once or twice or 5 times after that all you need is your own talent, being a star kid is not considered as your talent and is not the only criteria to be successful in Bollywood.
Here we have examples where being a star kid was not enough to emerge as a star.

1. Suneil Anand
You can easily guess who this person is by his surname. Yes, You are right. He is the son of the Biggest Superstar of India , Dev Anand.
Not only did he lack the looks and charm of his father, but acting as well. Suneil Anand was launched in 1984 with Anand aur Anand by his father but the movie was a flop.
2. Kumar Gaurav
Son of one of the most popular and talented actors of 1960’s Rajendra Kumar had the looks to be a very popular actor.
His debut movie Love Story was a hit. He worked in several movies but most of them were flop. Hence he could not leave his mark on Bollywood. Maybe destiny was not fair to him.
3. Kunal Goswami
He is son of one of the most popular actors as well as director, Manoj Kumar.
He made his Bollywood debut with one of the historic blockbusters Kranti.

He worked in various movies but still he is remembered only for a song Neele Neele Ambar Par opposite Sridevi. Being a star kid did not work for him.
4. Shadaab Khan
If you have seen the movie Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat starring Rani Mukherjee, you will absolutely agree with me that the only thing to dislike about it is the lead actor’s acting.
Son of Amjad Khan (who is still remembered as Gabbar Singh) was not as talented as his father hence he failed to become a popular face in Bollywood.
5. Puru Raaj Kumar
Who doesn’t know the popular and successful actor Raaj Kumar. But his son is unknown to most of us.
Puru Raaj Kumar made his debut in 1996 with the movie Bal Bramhachari opposite popular actress Karisma Kapoor. But the movie proved to be a flop at the box office.
He then tried again in 2000 with a negative role in the movie Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai .
Even after doing a number of movies, he could not become a successful actor in Bollywood.

6. Rajiv Kapoor
Even after being a member of the popular Kapoor family, Rajiv Kapoor could not emerge as a successful actor in Bollywood.
He worked as a leading actor in the movie Ram Teri Ganga Maili, which was directed by his father Raj Kapoor and produced by his brother Randhir Kapoor.
The movie became an all-time blockbuster.
After doing some more movies, he turned towards production and direction.
Overall, he failed as an actor even though he was from the family of the most celebrated stars in Bollywood.
7. Mahaakshay Chakraborty
Son of the very famous actor Mithun Chakraborty, tried his luck in Bollywood as a lead role in 2008 with movie jimmy but the movie was a flop at the box-office.
Even after being the son of a popular Bollywood actor, and working in some movies, he failed to be a common name in Bollywood.
8. Esha Deol
Esha Deol is daughter of a very famous Bollywood actor-couple, Dharmendra and Hema Malini. She has worked in several bollywood movies but most of them are flops and still she is popular only as a star kid.
Both of her parents were very famous in Bollywood for their acting, but their daughter is not.
9. Tanishaa Mukherji
She is the daughter of very popular veteran Bollywood actress Tanuja, and sister of the famous face in Bollywood Kajol.
She has worked in hindi, tamil and telugu films. But still she could not make her name in the list of famous and successful Bollywood celebrities.
Now, most people are aware of the existence of nepotism. And now, we are in a time when being a star kid is more important than talent to be in a Bollywood movie.
But things are not always like this.
Nepotism can support one only to a definite extent.
All you need to do is recognize your talent and constantly work hard with patience.
And you are ready to snatch the opportunities with your talent over the star kids.
