Acting helps to become easy... According to me acting is the only occupation that allows us to live other's life that is, play various roles in one's life and we almost enjoy every emotion.
As an actor, we can experience every motion of life. It also helps us to self visualize and know ourselves.
As an actor, we meet a lot of people of various traits and we encounter various expressions I feel acting is traveling from one mental state to the other that is from one soul to another.
Personally, I feel that acting is a journey for me. As an actor, we live the lives of people whom we never met, enjoy lives which is very different from ours.
Hence as I can say that acting allows us to know more about ourselves and others as well.
1. Tell us something about yourself and your journey
My name is Vishal and I am basically from Delhi. I completed my schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya School in Delhi. I completed my graduation from Delhi University with BCom honors. As soon as I graduated I started working in various sectors like travel, the Italian trade commission( in Delhi ). I also worked with brands like Reliance and Getty Images.
I was always interested in extracurricular activities in school. My first stage experience was in school as a part of a play in which I played the role of Bahadur Shah Zafar then after my interest in acting started to grow, but then I quit acting for the time being and completed my schooling.
When I was working in Getty Images they held many photoshoots with celebrities and my interest to come in front of the camera again grew. One of my photographers told me that I need to work on my expressions. With his suggestions, I started to work on the same.
Then after some time, I got to know that my school friend was working on a film and he gave me the offer to act in his movie, hearing this I was so happy and realized that my dream was about to come true. Then I worked with various TV channels like Aakashvani(Doordarshan).
During those times there came a show named 'Mehfil or Mann Bhawan ' I acted there too I gave auditions for this program many times, I was not selected. But on my friend's suggestion when I worked on my expression and voice and my Hindi, I was able to crack the audition and I got selected there as an actor, this was my journey, in short, describing my struggles all ups and downs and I have tried to touch every sphere of my life
2. When did you decide that acting would be your career?
When I was working with Getty Images, I was doing theatres later thereafter in 2013 I decided that I was better at acting and could do it in a much better way and felt was made for the same, so I decided to pursue acting as a career in life.
From 2013 to 2015, I worked for various TV shows as an actor. In the year 2015, I decided to shift to Mumbai to work for films and various TV shows/ TV programs and then I finally decided acting was going to be my career.
3. How can one approach their career, have the confidence and belief to become an actor?
My teachers motivated me a lot to act. When I was in class 8th there was a chapter in Hindi subject which was about Kalinga yudh and King Ashoka.
After reading the play I assembled all my childhood friends who lived nearby. We recreated the play my way. I was quite confident that one day I will surely become a successful actor and I felt that acting came from inside.
4. What do you like about acting the most?
Acting helps to become easy.

5. Who inspired you the most in life?
My family inspired me the most, especially my father his way of living particularly inspired me the most ... I feel that a person who cannot come out of his comfort zone cannot achieve anything in life.
I have learned in life that we should be capable to adjust ourselves even in luxury and also if we don't have shelter to survive.
6. Provide us some tips that would encourage youngsters who would like to take up this as their career option
Youngsters who want to get into this field should know that this field requires a lot of hard work. What we see in cinemas is that the movie gets over in 2 to 3 hours but the journey to create it is a long way requiring around 1 to 2 years and a lot of manpower.
Sometimes during the shoot even if there is some seasonal variation be it rain or storm you need to be there with your whole focus and activeness.
Sometimes during action scenes, we can be injured badly but we need to continue the shoot. Many times we are clumped in our personal lives but we have to perform a comedy scene during the shoot.
Therefore I want to convey the message to the youngsters that this industry requires a lot of hard work, so feel that you can do only acting the best, that is you are born to be an actor and you are ready for what it requires and that you are on the right way.
7. In the roles that you played which role do you like the most and why?
Till now there is no such role that I've played which I will admire the most but I am working on it in and I feel the role will come up surely one day.
