How Are Hollywood Movies Ahead of Bollywood’s?

Dance, music, plays, comedies, romance, and other forms of entertainment spring to mind first when we think about entertainment. In a nutshell, movies are the best kind of entertainment.

The two most well-known film industries in the world, Bollywood and Hollywood, have captured the hearts of countless numbers of people with their films' music, dance, drama, and, most importantly, plots. These two are at the top of the film industry and compete fiercely with one another. Because of this, it is difficult to compare them, yet it is undeniable that Hollywood Vs. Bollywood is the most hotly debated issue.

This article is for all movie fans who want to know why Hollywood films are superior to Bollywood films.

The straightforward answer to this question is creativity and talent utilization. When it comes to producing quality films, the Hollywood film industry is well ahead of the Bollywood film industry.

In other words, Bollywood continues to generate stuff that was successful 10 years ago, whereas Hollywood producers and directors are willing to take a chance when it comes to making something new.

With that being said, let's discuss the two main reasons why Hollywood is so good at producing quality films.

1. Creativity

One of the main reasons Hollywood films are doing better than Bollywood films is that Bollywood is nowhere near as creative as the Hollywood film industry. Hollywood is renowned for producing films that are above our wildest dreams, which makes us love their work.

Bollywood, however, continues to rely on outdated ideas that were effective in the past. Bollywood seems to have a cookbook and is just reciting the same recipes over and over. Bollywood primarily produces one or two sorts of films. Rather than making any attempt to find new scripts, Bollywood is manufacturing only remakes of its prior hits.

However, Hollywood is occupied with creating masterpieces. The issue is that Bollywood is completely lacking in innovation, not that Hollywood only makes excellent films.

Bollywood has produced some cinematic masterpieces, but the issue is that they only manage to do it once or twice every ten years, failing to move on.

If you're asked, "What is the best Hollywood science fiction film?", your response may be Inception, Interstellar, Gravity, or any other movie. But would you be able to respond quickly if the same question was posed about Bollywood movies? You might even need to conduct a Google search. The same goes for Horror and Superhero movies.

Although the recently released superhero movie, Minnal Murali is an exception. Not to mention that it was not a creation of Bollywood though.

2. Talent Utilization

Actors, directors, and writers in Bollywood are incredibly skilled. In terms of talent, there is no denying that Bollywood can compete fairly with Hollywood.

Bollywood and Hollywood both have a respectable level of skill. However, Bollywood's issue is not one of talent scarcity, but rather one of talent underutilization. Bollywood has plenty of talent, but it is never used.

And because of Bollywood's favoritism policy, the vast majority of talented performers don't even get the roles they deserve, which results in the underappreciation of individuals who should have been the greatest actors of their time.

But Hollywood is fantastic at making use of the talent; for instance, Jason Momoa would never have gone from portraying Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones to playing Aquaman if Hollywood only focused on favoritism. The truth is that no industry, including Hollywood, can function without favoritism, but Hollywood excels at utilizing talent.

It's not like Bollywood can't make movies that can compete with those made in Hollywood; it surely can but only if the Bollywood industry stops showing favoritism and starts placing a higher value on talent, as this is the only thing Bollywood can rely on.

If Bollywood starts appreciating talent, creates quality movies, and tries to be creative, who knows we might win a second Oscar; but for that Bollywood has to abandon biasness.
