Rituraj & Richa- We Love Doing Food Blogging And Give Our Heart And Soul To It As It's Our Passion (Food and Travel Blogger From India)

Rituraj & Richa

As I said we wanted to show the culture, food, and tradition of different places to a wider audience so that people can visit those places. There are many restaurants and great places in our country which are truly fabulous but really underrated and people hardly know about those places but after we started blogging many people shown interest, actually visited, and gave positive responses.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

We (Rituraj & Richa) started our Insta channel (@one.step4ward) in 2019 as we had a passion of photography, videography, travel, lifestyle & Food.
We love exploring new places and explore the food, culture tradition, and lifestyle. We travelled to many places and used to upload in our private accounts.

As we started getting lots of love and support we finally decided to bring it to a wider audience with proper reviews, HD Videos/Pics, guides, and locations so that people can not only appreciate on social media but also go and enjoy to those places.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram about food and travel?

As I said we wanted to show the culture, food, and tradition of different places to a wider audience so that people can visit those places. There are many restaurants and great places in our country which are truly fabulous but really underrated and people hardly know about those places but after we started blogging many people shown interest, actually visited, and gave positive responses.

3. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your page?

Staff Service, Food quality and hygiene, Value for money.
Ambience cannot be always great but you may get the yummiest food there so I never judge a restaurant just by their ambience.

4. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

We love doing food blogging and give our heart and soul to it as it's our passion. If we get rewarded for our work we take it as a motivation. Never focus only on paid promotions and promote any place rather we promote and review what we love genuinely.
We are working on other platforms as well apart from Instagram like YouTube, Moj, Zomato, Google Reviews, etc and if we get good opportunities we would definitely love to have it as our regular career.

5. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

Well, I love Indian, Chinese and continental cuisines.
Chicken Biryani is all-time favourite.
Indian Street Food like chole bhatore, Idli, Dosa, Rolls, Momos, etc. are an all-time favorite.

6. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

We have done a lot of blogging in Ranchi and Bengaluru.
In Ranchi;
I would highly recommend Kaveri and Krshna for all Veg food Lovers.
For Non-Veg Food Lovers - Kathi Kebab for a wide variety of Chicken curries & Unique Chicken Startes and India Hotel for mutton thali is highly recommended.
Loved Mocha for how they present the food and for their super amazing rooftop ambience. Highly Instgrammable Cafe.

In Bengaluru;
Empire is one of the best and most pocket-friendly options for everyone. Best part is you can also visit there at late night and enjoy the yummy meal. Ghee rice with mutton rogan josh, Chicken Dosa, Wheat parathas with butter chicken, coin parathas, Al-faham chicken, etc are some of my favorites.
Vidyarthi Bhawan for south Indian Breakfast is highly recommended.
Punjabi Rasoi, Indiranagar has always been my favorite for Punjabi north Indian cuisines.
Lots of pubs we can explore, there are so many pubs here that picking one favorite is really difficult. Just visit  :)

7. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

Work Hard, have patience, always try to improve your content, never take shortcuts and before giving up always think about why you started.

8. Which is your favourite book and why?

Not a regular reader, although loved “The Alchemist”
From following your heart to about taking the risk of following your dreams. The author describes that when you decide to follow your dreams the entire universe conspires in your favour which he called as the “beginner's luck” and we all have been witness to this beginner's luck at one or other point in our lives.
