What led to your passion for interior design?
I wanted to become an interior designer because they need to be both creative and technical. Growing up, I never found myself in one stereotype or the other; I liked working with technicalities while also expressing myself creatively. I enjoy interior design because it affects the lives of people indirectly, no matter where you work.
Our every choice & decision affects the client in innumerable ways and that's the reason design has been an attractive idea to me since I began studying it in college. Meeting the needs of corporate spaces, houses, offices, showrooms, etc has inspired me to learn how to solve problems and express creativity at the same time.

How can one identify and appreciate a good interior designer?
Although there is no definition of a good
interior designer, the route to becoming a good interior designer where you are
able to bring your client’s vision to reality is full of challenges. It
requires a rare level of passion for what you do. Once you’ve reached the top,
it also takes tenacity to remain at the pinnacle of the art form.
5.
How important is it to be in sync with changing trends?
There are certain areas that influence the emergence of future trends & designs & it is extremely important for an interior designer to be in sync & be up to date with them. The more well-informed & aware you are regarding the changing patterns & trends, the more your work will shine out.
Interior designing is a long-term investment made by clients to convert their homes, offices, restaurants, hotels etc into their dream spaces, so it’s vital to provide them with the right innovations, ideas & techniques as per the market norms & trends.

7.
What has been the most challenging part of your profession?
Cost management and time management are some of the hardest things to deal with as an interior designer – especially when clients have massive expectations! There are times when we come across clients that want luxurious designs at a less budget or want a project to be delivered below the required & estimated time which sometimes is a huge challenge for us to provide.
8.
What tips do you have for people who want to work in this industry?
The one piece of advice I’d like to give to all the budding interior designers looking forward to making a mark in this industry is that it’s okay if you don’t have all the answers. You must keep in mind that your own path is unique. This is the time for discovery and growth.
You should go slow and take advantage of all the learning experiences life brings. There will be challenges, and you will have a lot of questions, but fortunately, with talent, dedication, and a little luck, the brightest possible future is yours. Also, be open to learning as much as you can because your learnings & experience will set you apart in this industry and make you shine bright.
