How Life Has Changed Since The Shock of The Covid Pandemic

Another year passed with time.

We all welcomed 2022 with joy and excitement and pledge ourselves to carry on the spirit of coping with the difficult situation in life. Keeping behind all pain and fear we all looked forward to this new hope of sunshine.

Life And Clock: Never Works The Way You Want

But things never work out the way we want. Right? Sitting near the balcony and sipping a cup of tea under the bright sunshine everything appeared so peaceful and nice. This silence is so soothing that one can get driven by it.

But this silence was stolen when I was going through the newspaper and found an article on a human stampede at Vaishno Devi temple in which 13 were killed and many injured. While reading the whole article it seemed it gave a shiver to my spine. Think about the family members, and how they felt when they got the news of the loss of their near and dear ones.

At times it felt like I could hear the reverberation of the crying heart and thousands of hands praying for the speedy recovery of their family members. The other incident took place in Bhiwani where a huge mountain range collapsed leading to the death of two workers and many suppressed under it. This whole thing just made a New day of 365 chapters a haunting memory for all.

These horrific incidents remind me that life is very uncertain. When and how a tragedy can occur no one knows. When the strings of attachment can get broken and when a person whom you never valued may go far away from you. My words can go very well with this song  “zindagi ek Safar hai suhana, yahan kal kya ho kisne jana”……..

Novel Corona: Transition To New Normal Or Something More Than This?

The novel Corona has also not spared us from its rage. The new year started with the rise in cases taking its count to 1 lakh!!! While seeing this breaking headline it felt as if everything around me was shattering and I was feeling so helpless so much that even words can’t define it. Really cannot.

Something which disturbs my mind is even the ones who are the authorized power of the country- the government works accordingly when something is in their favor.

Politicians: Responsibility Or Carelessness?

Thousands of people gather to listen to their representatives in a rally mostly from lower middle and poor sections with no safety measures getting themselves caught in a rat trap of hazards and a cycle of corruption that they don’t even know. Don’t they feel or regret their actions?! Don’t they think about safety before heading towards such rallies or events?!

Don’t they?!

Nevertheless, we need to strive and struggle with such situations. Because once a wise person said “if your life is not filled up with problems, then your life isn’t active, a life is only active and strong when there are thousands of problems and you have the power to face it”

We tend to forget that such events which are associated with life are so dreadful. Life is so precious that we barely get time to look at it. We always tend to complain about life. Complaining about things which maybe are not that important. Keep ranting about small things which we can fix but our attitude does not let that happen.

Moreover, the impact of such instances on life not only leaves a trauma but also scars and marks which last for a long. They take up a small corner of  our mind and space that even if we want to forget, it flashbacks as a bad memory.

Conclusion

Also, such mind-numbing instances have a very deep psychological effect. People who keep hearing or reading such things have a very negative impact on their minds. The peacefulness of anything gets disturbed by such traumatizing instances. You will tend to feel, disturbed, agitated and uncomfortable for a week or even for a month!

Lastly, what I wanted to convey through this article and experience mine is that all these incidents do occur and their occurrence is inevitable. We cannot stop such instances to occur nor we can have a probability of when, how, in which way, and in which scenario it would appear. All we can do is how to act on it. Whether we choose to act wisely or as immature, all depends on us.
