5 Products from Himalaya That You Should Have

Over the years I have come across many products from different brands claiming to provide better results. But none have provided better results than the Himalayas did.

Himalayas has established its worth from billions of customers globally. It is recognised to be the most trusted and reliable brand when it comes to skin and body care.

Initially, it was founded as a drug company by the founder, Mohammed Manal. Years passed, and it introduced various ranges comprising personal care, baby care, home care and animal health products.

After the death of the founder, the former son Meraj Manal started a manufacturing unit in Bangalore to cater for the production needs locally and globally.

Here are the top 5 products that you should give a try. The below-recommended products are self-tried and tested. Feel at ease to read and give the product the chance to change your future.

1. Shampoo and conditioner

Himalayas has diverse products to cater for different hair types such as anti-hair fall, anti-dandruff, gentle daily care, damage repair protein, colour protection and many more.

Two of my favourite shampoo are gentle daily care and damage repair protein.

a. Gentle daily care shampoo

Recently I got my hands on this specific shampoo of 200ml and this has lasted me around 2 months with 2 washes per week.  The product can last depending on the number of washes.

This is a protein-infused shampoo imbibed naturally from chickpeas which is a major source of protein. The formulation is mild and gentle and locks proteins in the strands.

This shampoo is suitable for all hair types. Additionally, you can use conditioner to avoid tangling and let your hair smooth for a week long. The conditioner conditions your hair and locks the moisture in strands to avoid damage and tangles. You can skip conditioner if you are pre-conditioning your hair with oiling.

My rating is 4.5/5

b. Damage repair protein shampoo

This shampoo repairs your damaged hair and avoids further damage with essential proteins like almonds which nourished the strands from the root.

I recently went on to purchase this shampoo for two main reasons.

  • I got it at a great discount (super budget-friendly).
  • My hair needed care as it was severely damaged. (Almond oil suits my hair and helps me to avoid breakage. This shampoo is infused with almond benefits.)

My rating: is 4/5

I also had given a try to anti-hair fall and anti-dandruff. The product quality was good, however, it didn't cater to the promise that was expected.

2. Face wash

Talking about face wash, the Himalayas has launched many ranges of facewash considering different skin types. One of the best qualities of their facewash is that it completely doesn't make your skin dry. It leaves your skin moisturised, unlike other facewashes. Also, it provides an instant glow.

Here are the two products that I swear by.

a. Himalayas Purifying Neem Facewash

The basic and primary range is suitable for all skin types. It cleanses your skin and removes the build of sweat and dirt. This is the benefit of neem which keeps your face free from any problems.

You can avail of the tube for 50ml, 100ml, and 150ml.

b. Himalayas Deep Cleansing Apricot Facewash

If your skin is oily and produces excess sebum, then this product can do wonders. This product has changed my life and can change your life too.

This acts as a scrub as well as a facewash. The apricot granules remove the dead skin and the superficial layer accumulated with sebum production and sweat. It gently exfoliates and cleanses your face and leaves clear and moisturizes the skin.

c. Himalayas oil clear lemon facewash

This is the recently purchased one and using it currently. Unlike the previous two, it is similar to a gel-based cleanser. It doesn’t foam too much. You can feel the honey texture when you apply it to your face. And it completely clears the excess oil as promised.

3. Lip care

I’m not a great fan of make-up. So I don't prefer lipsticks. However, there are times you want to give a special touch to your face. That's where the Himalayas lip care range comes to the rescue.

Chapped lips!?

Try Himalayas litchi+skin lip care. It moisturizes your lips and treats your chapped lips in a week. Also, it does give you a special touch on your face by glossing your lips.

Also, they do have a range of tinted lip balms.

You do have other ranges as well in strawberry (tinted), vanilla, cocoa butter etc.

Be it summer or winter do not forget to moisturise your lips.

4. Soaps

The Himalayas has come up with a diverse range of soap in recent times.

Himalayas Ayurveda Sandal glows soap, cucumber & coconut soap, almond and rose soap, cream and honey nourishing soap, refreshing cucumber soap, neem and turmeric soap.

They do offer baby soap.

I prefer neem and turmeric soap and cucumber and coconut soap. I’m yet to try the other range.

When I experience body acne or want to feel extremely clean after rigorous activity, I wish to neem and turmeric soap. The ingredients like neem and turmeric make me feel super clean from germs and bacteria. Also helps me with body acne.

When I’m off from a tiring day and want to feel fresh, I go for cucumber and coconut soap. It helps me to relax and let go of all the stress accumulated. The honey in it moisturises my skin while cucumber keeps me refreshed.

5. Toothpaste

Himalayas is not only a brand but an emotion and trust.
