C. The fort has a pond where a natural stream falls into it. The pond is said to be haunted by the spirits of the soldiers who died in the war. Some people have claimed to hear screams and cries from the pond at night.

Several pieces of debris have been found in the Indian Ocean, but they have not provided conclusive evidence of what happened to the flight.
