1. Tell us about your background and journey.
After my father's passing, I struggled to find a job for a considerable period. Even when I did, it often required higher qualifications that I didn't possess. Eventually, after much effort, I landed a job in wedding events at a hotel, which required me to travel to Varanasi.
During the wedding seasons, I had to stay there with my group of 10 to 15 girls until the events were over. However, this job was not consistent, and there were gaps of 1 to 2 months between assignments. During one such gap of 4 months, I decided to start my own YouTube channel.
I discussed this idea with my boyfriend, Gaurav (we've been together for 10 years since school and do everything together), and we decided to create content hiding my face initially. I started a channel called "Funny Pari," where I uploaded normal videos, but they didn't get many views, which worried me.
I persisted with this for a while and then started another channel focusing on vlogs, but that also didn't attract views. One day, I uploaded a makeup video that received 2k views, which made me happy. I then told Gaurav that I wanted to create makeup videos as I loved doing makeup. After much brainstorming for a name, we settled on "The Sasta Makeup." From April 2023 onwards, I consistently uploaded videos, and slowly, I started getting a good response.
Despite facing demotivation and criticism, I didn't give up. Alongside running the YouTube channel, I also worked a job. After coming home from work, I would create videos late into the night and send them to Gaurav for editing and uploading. Through this struggle, I have now built a family of 5000+ subscribers on YouTube and 2000+ followers on Instagram. I believe that if you want to achieve something in life, nothing is impossible.

My name is Neha Chaudhary, and I am originally from Punjab, born on August 12, 2002. However, a few years later, my entire family shifted to Noida. We are a family of six sisters and one younger brother. Four of my sisters are married, leaving just the two of us, along with our younger brother and mother, in our home. Unfortunately, my father passed away due to cancer in 2021, which left us quite vulnerable. We have many relatives, but unfortunately, none of them stood by us during that difficult time.
I completed my 12th grade and am currently pursuing my graduation.
