Jayna Sippy: She Chose Herself Over Conformity—and Built Brands That Speak to Souls (Entrepreneur, Brand Consultant)

Jayna Sippy Interview

Portrait of Jayna Sippy, brand strategist and storyteller known for soulful design and intuitive branding

"If you’ve got you with you, you can truly conquer anything."

Q. What was the moment you realized branding and storytelling were your true calling?

I’ve always been someone who imagines a story behind everything. Even the smallest detail triggers a little screenplay in my head.

That love for narrative, combined with my obsession for color, texture, and style, naturally pulled me toward branding and storytelling.

Over time, I’ve been lucky to meet people who gave me space to explore, supported me, and even offered honest feedback—which I truly value.

It’s been a journey of learning and evolving.

But I think the turning point was when people started appreciating my work—it gave me that quiet confidence that I’m on the right path, and that what I create holds meaning and value.

Q. What does solitude on the road reveal to you that a crowded itinerary never could?

Solitude on the road gave me the space to really listen — to myself, to the world around me. I’ve always been observant, someone who notices the little things, but being alone brought that out even more.

It made me stronger, more mindful, and surprisingly more clear-headed. As someone who’s quite spiritual, I value stillness and energy — and those quiet moments felt like a reset.

In that stillness, I also began to heal and reconnect with myself. It’s where my journey with self-love quietly began — not loud, but honest and lasting.

Q. How do you help brands find their voice without losing their authenticity?

I always tell my clients — let’s be real.

The most authentic way to build a brand is to stay relatable, honest, and open to feedback. There’s no harm in trial and error; what matters is progress, not rushing toward overnight success or chasing numbers.

I believe slow, steady growth builds something stronger and more meaningful.

At the end of the day, your brand should make customers feel valued — like they’ve found a brand that truly listens, cares, and connects with them.

That’s where real loyalty begins.

Q. What does it truly mean to ‘choose yourself’ in a world that often demands conformity?

To choose yourself in a world that demands conformity means standing by who you are without the fear of being judged.

For me, it’s always been me vs me — my only competition is the person I was yesterday. Through everything life has thrown at me — people, work, experiences — I’ve learned that the worst thing you can do is lose yourself.

If you’ve got you with you, you can truly conquer anything.

So love yourself, unapologetically and selflessly — because that’s where it all begins.

Q. What’s one challenge you’ve had to work through that changed your inner landscape?

Change hasn’t always come easy to me — I feel deeply, and adapting emotionally has been a journey.

But over time, I’ve found strength in the little things: meditation, working out, dancing, cooking for loved ones, solo trips — all of it helped me heal and grow.

I’ve learned that change, is a bit scary but it’s part of growth. You can’t control everything, and that’s okay. Trust your energy, your faith, and just keep moving forward.

Smile more, love harder, be kind, and stay grateful. Life’s fragile — so live fully, gently, and with joy.

Q. How do you balance your personal voice with the brands you help build?

I’m a very upfront and straightforward person, and that reflects in how I build brands too.

I believe in being real, relatable, and honest — because if we’re putting something out into the world, it should come from a place of truth. I don’t work with brands that aren’t transparent with their audience.

For me, it’s simple: the brand’s voice should be clear, genuine, and rooted in values that truly connect with people.
