Q. Coming from a modest town in Punjab to building brands like Horizon Group and EVOQ Realtech, what kept your vision steady during the early struggles?

There was always one thing that kept me going - my intent. My intentions were always genuine, and I had a clear goal: to build something meaningful, earn a respected name, and make my family and my city proud. I am proud to be from Sangrur, and that sense of belonging has always motivated me to dream bigger and work harder.

Q. Do you believe personal branding has become equally important as business branding in today’s world?

Absolutely. I believe I was among the first entrepreneurs in Tricity and Punjab to recognize the power of personal branding. We all learn from our surroundings, and I drew inspiration from global power brands like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. Once you become a trusted brand yourself, people associate value with your name. At that point, whether it’s a pen or a diamond, people believe in what you create because they believe in you.

Q. What’s one misconception people usually have about entrepreneurs who showcase luxury online?

Many people assume that showcasing luxury is simply being extravagant or showing off. They often view it negatively. In reality, luxury is not just about displaying wealth, it’s about experiencing quality, excellence, and achievement. Luxury is meant to be felt, not merely seen.

Q. Real estate today is evolving rapidly. What, according to you, makes a project truly memorable beyond just architecture?

A project becomes memorable when it is conceived and executed with practicality at its core. Today, architects, engineers, and other professionals are highly skilled, and their creative vision often aligns beautifully with modern design philosophies. However, beyond aesthetics, we must create homes that are functional and comfortable for every generation. A family is made up of people of different ages living under one roof, and a truly successful project is one that caters to all of them.

Q. You’ve collaborated with personalities like Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan for branding campaigns. How important is storytelling in building a modern brand?

Collaborating with Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan has been among the most transformative achievements of my journey. These experiences reinforced my belief that storytelling is one of the most important pillars of a successful brand. Just as a project needs a great architect or engineer, a brand needs a compelling story. Without effective storytelling, it becomes difficult to create a lasting impact and connect with people on a deeper level.

Q. If you could give one piece of advice to young people chasing “quick success” through social media, what would it be?

Don’t believe in shortcuts. Sustainable success is never achieved overnight. Behind every success story is a series of failures, lessons, and sacrifices. Discipline, consistency, and patience are far more valuable than quick wins. Focus on building yourself every day, and success will follow naturally.
