This article is divided into two parts. First, for those of you who are looking for their dream jobs, while the second part focuses on those who are planning on further studies. Job Opportunities after Graduation - 

1. Bank - If you want to stand financially on your own feet right after your graduation, jobs through government exams would attract you. Some of them are Bank PO, IBPS. Not only do these jobs present a good salary, but they also offer you various government facilities. Although, the competition in these exams is slightly higher. 

2. Indian Economic Services - IES comes under government services and is one of the most reputed jobs in India. The exam is conducted is on the same basis as that of IAS. 

3. Start-Ups - Right after graduation, if you are looking for a handful of experiences and opportunities, the start-up would be a great head-start. That way, you would be able to decide your ultimate career path and continue to do what excites you!

4. Marketing Research Analyst - If you love statistics and marketing, this might be your destination. A marketing research analyst gathers data about market conditions, consumer choices, demographics, potential needs, and demands, etc. These include work in finance, management, trade, and more.

5. Income Tax Department - Even if you graduated with a degree in commerce and have a thing for numbers, you still have an opportunity to work as an Income Tax Officer. Apart from a bachelor’s degree, you need to qualify for the SSC examination.

Further Studies Section - 

6. Master of Commerce - The very first option for studying further after obtaining a Bachelor in Commerce degree is Master in Commerce. This can either be followed by a Ph.D. or you can refer to the first section of this article.

7. Master of Business Administration - Probably the most common career path you will hear in the field of commerce is an MBA. You should be very clear with your choice of subjects which you want to specialize in before you get yourself enrolled for CAT. Other than that, the credibility of the course is more valuable if you are an IIM student.

8. Chartered Accountancy (CA) - If you are a commerce student, there’s always somebody in your family to remind you to opt for CA. CA exams are conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. If the internship required is done from a valuable source, it may land you in firms like EY and Deloitte. 

9. Company Secretary (CS) - For those scared of CA and CFA, CS might be your cup of tea! Although it is considered easier than the other related exams, it involves the study of law, which makes it a little complicated. 

10. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) - It is one of the highly recognized professional courses accepted globally in the field of investment and finance. You can become a financial analyst, a market researcher, or a statistician after persuing this course. This course will also prove beneficial for you if you want to opt for consultancy.

11. Actuarial Science - This topic remains a little obscure or undiscovered due to the fact that most of the students are grounded by the myth that is beyond one’s potential. This is basically related to risk analysis, finance, and insurance sectors. It requires good control over mathematical and statistical subjects.

12. UPSC - Yes, it is a feasible career path even when you have a degree in commerce.
