1. Tell us more about yourself and your profession.

My name is Anshul Aggarwal. I am a Delhi based software engineer. I have two main passion in my life i.e. Travel and Fitness. Along with my regular office work, I somehow manage my fitness goals and travel goals too. As of now, I have travelled to 14 countries.


2. What is your fitness mantra?

Always eat according to your maintenance calories. Diet plays an important role in the fitness regime. 70% diet and 30% workout is an absolutely correct statement.


3. What are some of major misconceptions about diets and exercises?

Misconceptions about diet: when people thinking of gaining muscles then they need to be in excess calories but few people start eating junk food to increase their calorie intake.
And not all "healthy" labelled products are actually healthy.


4. How can one maintain a healthy lifestyle?

I believe fitness should be part of your lifestyle. Maintain a proper diet. Avoid anytime eating habits. Any kind of physical exercise on a regular basis. Avoid eating sugar/ sweets and preservative foods and eat as natural as possible. Most important, find a source of motivation which helps you in keeping yourself fit.


5. How can one build a successful career in your field?

By profession, I am a software engineer and if you're talking about a career in fitness, so I am not the right person to answer this.


6. What is one piece of advice you would like to give someone who wishes to lose weight?
Don't each much carbs. Extra carbs mean excessive calories which in turn increase your weight.


7. How do diets and exercise contribute to overall well being and happiness?

For maintaining a good healthy lifestyle, you need a disciplined life and self-restriction. These traits help in building a positive attitude towards life and you will start feeling good about yourself and feel happy.
