If there's one thing, that we have grown watching is
our beloved Amul ads! Every time, you see one and you are bound to fall in love
with it.
The Amul Girl never fails to deliver the current
happenings in a witty and humorous manner. It's been more than 6 decades and
still, the uniqueness of every ad is intact with the message that is intended
to be delivered over Butter!
So here’s the list of top 10 Amul Ads which made us go
WOW!
1. Obama and Modi Relationship
Remember the time when the whole World witnessed a
fruitful partnership with between President Obama and Prime Minister. Lots of
new initiatives were taken by both the sides jointly and the whole world was
hopeful to see significant changes in trade. This is how Amul made sure that it
gets all the attention.
2. The Facebook- WhatsApp Deal
Another major event that caught the world's attention
was Facebook buying WhatsApp for a whopping amount of 4 billion dollars. Posts,
tweets, stories, articles were created on one of the biggest takeovers in the
history of technology.
This is how Amul reacted to it!
3. An Amul Ad made for Rajnikant
This Amul Ad was a direct tribute to Rajnikanth's movie
the Robot which was Rajnikanth’s comeback to Bollywood after years with an interesting
and unique storyline.
Amul not only presented the whole picture into 1 single
pic but added the perfect tadka of Wit and Humour.
4. The Commonwealth Games Scam
Remember Suresh Kalmadi's committee that grabbed all
the headlines related to CWG scam that had taken place in Delhi in 2010.
Millions of rupees were laundered behind the curtains and India was under heavy
scrutiny for this scandal. This is how Amul took a dig at it.
5. The U-17 World Cup Held in India
India was a proud country to host the FIFA U-17
football championship and this was a perfect opportunity for Amul to deliver
and let everybody know that we were ready to make this event a great success.
As usual, they never failed!
6. The re-run of Ramayana and Mahabharata
When lockdown gave us restrictions to be at home, the
govt. decided to re-telecast their 2 most-watched shows- The Epics!The Amul was
quick to respond to the occasion.
Not only did they made this beautiful creative but also
aired their old Ads during the shows on Doordarshan to evoke nostalgia among
the viewers.
7. The 3rd Gender Ad!
The landmark judgment given by the supreme court in the
year 2014 after recognizing the 'third gender' status for transgenders made
headlines and the whole internet space was flooded with articles and opinions.
Likewise, Amul also captured the moment and presented
in their topical ad.
8.The Sachin-Sharapova Saga
One of the most controversial statements that had ever
happened in the field of tennis came on the topic of CricketIn 2014, she said
in a press conference that she didn't know of Tendulkar. This never went down
well with the Indian fans and she had to bear a lot of heat online.
Amul also presented a wonderfully crafted ad that
captured the right essence!
9. Peagent Host Blunder
Often at times, we see the host creating excitement
before announcing a contest winner, but in 2015, he went along the waive
himself and mistakenly crowned the runner’s up of the miss universe 2015.
Though he apologized then and there but the whole episode was made a butt of
jokes and online memes.
But no one did it better than our Amul Girl!
10. The Chinese Sentiment
If you are not on twitter, then you would have probably
missed this Amul ad pinned right at the top of Amul’s official twitter account.
The message is self-explanatory. Amul being a 100% Indian Brand is encouraging
us to boycott Chinese goods and EXIT THE DRAGON.
