1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Food is the only thing which is close to everyone’s heart. I am a simple and hardcore foodie girl who loves to taste all the best kinds of food wherever I can reach. I had this fond of tasting new things since childhood and apparently it became my work which also includes my passion.

I'm pursuing my graduation and seeing for further education which includes my work as well as my father. Been a part of a nuclear family where I've always been the pampered child and this is all I have for my background. The journey started from curiosity to let people know about food and cuisines around them, the spread of information which is all about food.

2. Which is your favorite in cuisine and dish?

Being a hardcore foodie, I love all types of cuisines in general. I don’t discriminate. But if I have to narrow down the list and have to pick one, I would say I am more inclined to North Indian Cuisine as there is a lot of variety in food and every dish can be prepared and presented in so many ways.

I have to say nothing can match the love I have for North Indian cuisine. If I have to pick a favorite dish then I’ll pick Dal Makhani. I am big fan of Dal Makhani and I can eat it everyday.

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

Nothing in life can be taken seriously if you don’t have the passion for it and if you have passion you will be able to take it to any heights.

“ When You do What you Love,You eventually do wonders”

4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

When it comes to recommendations, I'll pick street foods more than cafe’s and restaurants. But I can recommend you the pocket friendly cafes & restaurants which are suitable for dates or hangout with friends as most of my audience are in the age bracket of 18-35 years.

If you are going for a -
  • Family Dinner- then you should check The Dinning Table, The Kebab Hut (Le Meridian), India Oye (Radisson Blu), Meeting Point (Center Point Hotel) Tao Asian, Moti Mahal, Chill and Grill and the Nagpur Ashoka
  • Dates- Plan B Burger, The Singh Saabh, The Corridor Seven, Toss, Rufooh-180 (Tuli Imperial) and The Mocha Sky
  • Pocket friendly cafe’s and restaurants- Micasa, The Hungama Street Cafe, The Punjabi Chaap Corner, Hoc, The Vingtage Cafe, Chaat Chaska and the Nandanvan Street House
  • Hangout with friends- Common Ground, The Brewing Cafe and Pablo
  • Desserts- Licksters, Falani Mastani, Dairy Don, Delice and Fumo Gelato

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant see and talk about it on your blog?

It totally differs from restaurants to restaurants. Not one thing in particular we keep in mind several things before recommending to our audience. Like Firstly, it’s cleanliness of place which attracts me then comes the taste, quantity, quality, hospitality, pricing, interiors, cutlery’s and uniqueness of a menu, everything should be a perfectly balanced.

6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

Those who know me well, they know that I associate myself with Pizza. It has a special place in my heart. Pizza like Cheese Burst Pizza, Macaroni Pizza, Corn Capsicum Pizza, Fries Pizza and Tandoori Paneer Pizza are some of favorites. As long as it’s Pizza I am the happiest person.

If there are 100 dishes in front of me and 99 are either desserts or some other veg dishes and one of them is Pizza, I’ll pick Pizza without giving any second thoughts.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

I like "Gone with the Wind" because it speaks from a perspective few dare to write, a novel of the Civil War from a southern point of view. I love the characters (though Rhett and Scarlett can be extremely annoying at times).

Melanie is my favorite. And it is interesting to contrast the two principle women, Scarlett and Melanie. Both display such strength, but in different ways. And they made a great movie out of it.
