Princess Amelia Mignonette Renaldo of Genovia aka mia, A teenager who has public speaking fear lives with her single mother in San Fransisco studying in shy high school all of sudden learns the truth about herself from an estranged parental grandmother which turned her life upside down.
She learns that she was the sole heir of the European kingdom Genovia, inherited from her deceased father Phillipe.
Initial mia denied the throne but after some convincing, she agrees to attend some princess lessons from her grandmother and where she faces different aspects of life like love, success, relationships, and various elements to lead a life.
