Earlier most online games were played on computers or laptops, but with time, mobile or smartphones are becoming accessible and affordable to people and they are comfortable in playing games on their phones. Smartphones have replaced gaming consoles, PCs as smartphones allow players to play whenever they feel.

With time, gamers and developers are switching towards making more online games specially for mobile audiences. For playing online games on the phone, one needs to have a smartphone and stable internet configuration.

Gamers are developing customized and localized online games for Indian audiences like TeenPatti, IndianRummy, which has attracted people on various sites just to play these known games on an online platform.

Gamers are also customizing the games in several Indian languages and are adding the touch of various festivities through them. Awareness and demand for such games are increasing in India.

Other factors include the growth of IT sectors and the increase in digital payment across various fields. Altogether, the gaming industry is growing due to the evolution of mobile phones.

Road Block

While the gaming industry is booming, there is still a certain crisis that the gaming industry might have to face. People still now have certain prejudices against online gaming scenario. The gaming industry in India needs to look into the matter and come up with a quick resolution and solution.

People have already started investing in gaming firms as it is a booming market in India and they are confident that all this hard work will not fail. Over 400 million start-ups have opened in India, giving employment to a huge number of people.

As more and more people will start investing in the gaming industry, common people in India will develop an interest in online gaming and their prejudices will be removed slowly.
