2. What is your opinion about press freedom in India?
As today's journalism has a different approach in comparison to prior ones. Old journalism worked for media quality and freedom as well but nowadays it's all about glamorous news.
Everybody wants spicy news due to political issues and because of the pressure of senior one can't write what a journalist wants to write. (Kyuki jab tak news mai masala na ho koi dekhta nahi hai).
Freedom of journalist has vanished as many journalists face threat calls and many got killed just because they write the truth. Nowadays nobody wants the truth rather they want entertainment and fun. Freedom of the press is the freedom of communication & expression through vehicles including various electronic media & published materials.
While such freedom mostly implies the absence of interference from an overreaching state, its preservation may be sought through constitutional and other protection.
3. Who is your favourite journalist and why?
Every journalist has different qualities but I like Shweta Singh she is an Indian Journalist and news presenter. She is bold and feisty and her USP is combativeness and an assertive style. She hosts the news bulletin on Aaj Tak.
And Mimansa Mallik is an Indian Famous journalist and news anchor, Presently she is working as a senior anchor and producer on Zee News Channel. Mimansa Malik has more than 20 years of experience as a news anchor
I like them the most because they have the best scenes of choosing the news and reporting the best.
4. What do you think about the quality of journalism in India and how can it be improved?
I think nowadays, quality of journalism is vanished the people work on quantity or I could say that it is all about the yellow journalism which is done just because to increase the readers and viewers. Media considered as the fourth pillar of this country but the pillar is focused on the sensational and working for the top.
It should be improved only by giving the proper freedom and power to the journalist so that they can work without any pressure.
5. What is your message to all aspiring journalists?
My message to all aspiring journalists is that they should be the true voice of the people. Always take the side of truth no matter what's the situation because people have trust on us and we have to maintain that and also help the public to speak up and it's our duty to motivate them too.
6. If you could interview one famous person, who would that be and why?
The person I want to take an interview would be the honourable Prime Minister of our country, Mr Narendra Modi so that I can ask him the question of common people and get to know him that what the problems and issues are there in the country and what the public is facing Especially on the rape case that there should be a strict law against the rapists.
7. Which is your favourite book and why?
The Secret is my favourite book because in today's negative environment it is the only thing that makes me positive the law of nature and attraction always work only you have to do is faith and patience. And lastly, nothing is impossible if you have the fire to make it possible.
