I strongly believe one thing  in my life. We should shut  people's mouth with our success. Once we show our success  there is no  partiality  like whether you are thin, fat, fair, dark, ugly, beautiful and so on. When you show your success everyone knows your worth and that makes others go shut.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

About my background, it's very simple. I'm a normal upper middle class person. My dad works in a government sector. My mother is a house wife and my sister is working for a private hospital as a guest relation officer. Myself, I am not good in studies and that wasn't my choice from my childhood. I felt that wasn't my cup of tea.

I started my career at the age of 14 and at that time itself I was clear that studies was my second choice. I picked a course which doesn't have language and maths. These two were the toughest job for me. My entire family was searching a course without maths. So, I landed up taking viscom as my higher studies.

About my journey, I did my schooling in Ashram, Chennai which was handled by Latha Rajinikanth. That school taught me so many things to be very confident. Do what you like, there is nothing like only studies is the main thing that gives everything in your life. It was just like that.

Apart from that, it taught me so much like being independent and that really made me very confident. So, I just started my first show at the age of 14 in a well known channel called Kalaignar tv and I worked under Kala master and I did a reality show called Dance show and that's how my journey started.

2. Did you ever dream of doing a tv show?

As I said to my first question, I started my journey at the age of 14 and it happened just like that. My dad was actually watching tv and at that time he saw an add that any dancers in and around tamil nadu can participate in a dance show and my dad told to just try on it.

I wasn't that much trained. I learnt classical dance for eight years and that's all I know all about it. I started practicing by watching Prabhu deva s dance shows and somehow I got selected. It was a very big experience where I learnt to groom my learning style, camera sense from makeup to foot wear and the way I want to talk with people.

That age was very difficult for me to manage because as you know it was a pure adolescent age. With my parents support I came to semi final but I couldn't step into finals. After that I took a break and during my internship I got to know about the show 'ungalil yaar adutha prabhudeva' and I thought of giving it a try again.

I went to audition and I got selected. I was the first to be selected in Chennai level and that was a proud moment for me. So, I never had a dream of getting into tv show. It was just an accident. Dance was my passion, strength, confidence and everything. That made me to do tv shows back to back.

After Vijay tv I did one more reality show called 'dance tamizha dance' in Zee tamil. From there, I got a chance to do my debut film 'Tharai Thappattai' which was directed by the national award director Bala.

Everything was unexpected in my life and that was nice. Tv show wasn't my dream. It was a step initiated by my father. So, I don't know, it was just a luck I feel.

3. What are the challenges you faced in order to fulfill your destiny and how did you overcome negativity?

My only challenge was all about body shaming. This was the biggest issue which affected my family and the comments which pass on us will give  the biggest impact on the people who is with us .

I strongly believe one thing  in my life. We should shut  people's mouth with our success. Once we show our success  there is no  partiality  like whether you are thin, fat, fair, dark, ugly, beautiful and so on. When you show your success everyone knows your worth and that makes others go shut.

4. What are some of the lesser known thoughts about you?

My lesser thoughts about me are like people always think while looking at my face that I’m very attitude , bossy  kind but I’m right opposite. I’m very sensitive and caring person but to know that face of mine they need to get closer.  People always judge you by your face and that’s  a very bad attitude which I don’t like.

I like cooking, pets, sketching. There are so many things  which I like and do but people never see that  and they assume I’m not the girl material I learnt. Martial arts karate brown 2 belt, trained Latin dancer and certified group training classes.

5. What are some of your current and upcoming projects?

I'm doing two Tamil serials in Zee Tamil.

Upcoming films are
  •  Paper boy. (Telugu remake movie)
  •  More movies are signed and it’s on process
6. How do you plan to take your career forward?

I never ever planned for my career till this day. I am just going with the flow.  Whatever comes on my way I pick that and do it. But I’m very clear about one thing,   If my instinct says not to do I will never do it and  I respect  people who  trust my work.

7. Your advice to the aspiring artists and followers?

I’m one person who hates advice. I just believe in one thing .Do what you like and do things wholeheartedly and with full confidence. No one can live your life. So you design your life accordingly and enjoy each and every moment of your life.
