My name is Pooja Pal. I hail from a small town in Muzaffarnagar district. I am a professional makeup artist who has also been associated with an international brand like Adidas in Germany as well.
My journey has been quite eventful right from registering Makeup as a career option to showcasing my skills. I never got the kind of support from my Dad as he was against my profession. I even had to loan money to enroll myself for a makeup course with an academy.
Starting years were quite tough where I used to work and learn. Repaying all the loan to bagging an international project with Adidas in Germany as a Lead Makeup artist. I had gone through my ups and downs. Now I feel satisfied when your own people who went against my career start respecting.
I am glad to say people have started recognizing my work I am fortunate to say I have been one of the best MUA in my town. With this, I have even started to gain a foothold in the industry as well. It has been quite a learning curve.

Initially, I wanted to be a doctor but financial conditions never allowed me to pursue my ambition and then the following year I took a break to redefine my career path. But within myself, I always had an inclination towards Art and a sense of likeness towards Creativity.

Makeup artist as a career option only fueled within me when I saw my sister during her wedding and just could think of how I can intensify her beauty. I believe I had the artistic creativity in me. Now, this has turned more into a passion. I am extremely passionate about colours and different skin tones. I love what I do.

Mostly all international academy covers all these topics. Certification is an added benefit but most important is to be versatile and indulge in lots of practices for the perfect looks.
Apart from courses Its equally important to self indulge in digital content and learn from other makeup artists around the world. If you are passionate about makeup then web series like Glow up in Netflix would keep you in awe of this profession.
