Starting it as a career option is tough, frightening, it will make you doubt yourself, but once you are totally into it and chose the right path, dedicated to your work, and your work is good, you will surely get success. 

1) Tell us about your background and journey.

 

I have been grown up in a very small village and there were no concept of photography as a career option, in fact only career option for women are marriage in that time there. I have been the first girl to go out of  the village for work at that time. After that many started going out and started working that too took many years. 

 

2) What led you to choose this as your profession?

 

Earlier I was into game designing, photography was a hobby, my company where I used to work was a small startup got shut in 2011,  that made me think that I should take photography more seriously and started it as professionally. 

This is where it began. 

 

3) What are the challenges you face and how do you overcome it?

 

India is not a place where people take art seriously and would appreciate it. There is a audience for it. There are always insecurities about tomorrow, yet I do get lot of appreciation and emails from lot of people. 

 

4) What are the career opportunities available for amateur photographers?

 

They should just click, if you are good at it you will get work. 

 

5) How do you define a perfect shot?

 

Composition, good lighting and a story to tell.

 

6) Where do you see yourself in further future ?

 

Never want to get retired 

 

7) What advice would you like to give to the future and aspiring photographers?
