1. Tell us about your background and your journey.

My father is an Ex-govt employee. Mother is a housewife. I am a B.Com graduate from Christ College Bangalore. 11,12 Christ college Bangalore. 10th Margaret School Siliguri. Family stays in Siliguri I stay in Kolkata.

I started modelling in Siliguri when I was in school then shifted to Bangalore for higher studies and continued my modelling career side by side. then shifted to Bombay and struggled for the first few months then joined a gym as a trainer for survival. 

Then did job in JP Morgan Chase company and Serco Pvt ltd company. I did two TVC and one cameo character in a daily soap in Bombay. Then shifted to Kolkata and pursue my career in Bengali television industry. I did several characters which includes negative, comic, comedy, second lead and lead(hero).


2. When did you first decide you wanted to pursue acting and how did you start?

I was been forced to attend auditions by my first coordinator since my target was to continue my career in modelling. Since then I faced rejections for several years which made my career.


3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to make it TV shows?

The first point is my last answer No.2. Secondly, it's the passion and fire in your heart for your dream which will drive you towards your goal may it be television or films.


4. If not this, what would you be doing?

9 to 5 job.


5. For a complete outsider with inroads, what advice would you like to give?

Set a goal and be flexible to reach there even if the road takes you somewhere else don't hesitate it will take you to your destiny and God has set a perfect destination for everyone according to their karma.


6. What is your mantra of success?

Try & try & try with full dedication determination and devotion + luck = success.


7. Which is your favourite book and why?

"You can win". The reason is given in the name itself.
