1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Hi, I’m Mansi—author, founder, writer, artist of The Typewriter Daily and an art influencer. I published my first book when I was 17 and later came up with The Typewriter Daily which is a poetry and art journal blog on all popular social media platforms.

2. What inspired you to be a writer?

I started finding comfort in writing, shortly after losing a loved one.

3. How did you come up with the idea of mearging words and art together?

I’ve created art for as long as I remember so I thought it’d be fun to combine both my words + art and that’s how I came across art journaling.

4. Does emotions really matter while writing a content?

Yes, in my experience it does!

5. How does your work goes with thoughts of current generation?

People often tell me that they relate to my work a lot and that I literally read their minds/express what they have felt or are currently feeling.

6. What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

Say more with less.

7. How do you overcome a creative block?

I’m an empath, so it’s easy for me to channel my feelings and I’m always picking up energies, frequencies and feelings of other people so I rarely experience blocks but I experience shifts in my energies that make creating exhausting and less fun.

8. What message would you give to aspiring writers?

Rejection is a part of the process, just keep writing!

9. Which is your favourite book and why?

I have so many so I’m just going to say the first one that popped in my head - The God of small things by Arundhati Roy because apart from the story I love the the writing style!
