Being our own bosses, not needing to wake up for the same routine every day, experiencing things we could never afford to experience if it weren’t for our work, and the fact that we can enjoy all of it together.

1. Tell us about your upbringing and journey.

I grew up in a rather big city in Slovenia. My parents always had sufficient incomes, there was always food, and although time allowed to play video games was limited, we had the luxury to own a Nintendo. I cherish my childhood moments.

I spent my high school years being very social and involved in many sports activities. We also traveled a lot with my parents. I finished a Faculty of social sciences as a journalist, worked for a national TV and I wasn't feeling it, so I decided to become a flight attendant and move abroad to UAE.

I first created my IG page in the year 2014 and it wasn’t until Uroš came along that we started posting more frequently about our travels (the year 2016) and created this life.

2. What inspired you to become a travel blogger?

When I was working as a flight attendant, I and Uroš were making trips each month. Pretty early we started to fall in love with travel photography and as traveling was something that we would both want to make a living off, we were eager to learn about the opportunities.

Quickly we had realized the potential of gramming and as we had saved up, we were able to afford to take a year off to just learn, travel, and take steps towards a life we always wanted to create for ourselves.

3. What has been your most memorable trip?

One of our first trips together to Cappadocia - it was also one of the most inspiring trips to date and also a place where it all started. Cappadocia is still one of my favorite places on earth and we have been returning ever since.

4. What is the most rewarding part of being a travel blogger?

Being our own bosses, not needing to wake up for the same routine every day, experiencing things we could never afford to experience if it weren’t for our work, and the fact that we can enjoy all of it together.

5. What is that one dream location you always wanted to travel to and why?

French Polynesia - it seems such a faraway, dreamy lush destination that I keep seeing on Instagram and have been longing to visit for ages.

6. What would you advise upcoming travel bloggers?

Just start! Another day your wait is another day you'll never get back.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

“Let me tell you a story” by Jorge Bucay. The stories are food for thought. Honestly, lately, I am all about reading self-growth books/blogs - trying to work on my personal development journey.

I am a social media influencer and travel blogger who specializes in creating next-level content. You can find me traveling the world, sharing fresh, creative content with my 264K+ incredibly engaged followers. My passion for storytelling was born during my stint as a journalist, which lasted for about 5 years before I turned my lens to travel and lifestyle stories full time.
