Flying cars have always been a futuristic ambition, and the world, with all the advancements and developments is slowly moving toward achieving this milestone. Everyone looks forward to flying cars and there’s no denying that, they are not very far from the present. We all know that the future of the automobile industry is Electric. But Ola has taken it too far, with its brand-new project “Ola AirPro”.

But there’s a great plot twist that’s waiting for you as you read on….

What is Ola AirPro?

CEO and Co-founder of Ola, Bhavish Aggarwal, on Thursday, proudly unveiled The World’s First Fully Autonomous Flying Car, named “Ola AirPro”. Sounds like two Macbooks fused together, right? As fancy as it sounds, the Ola AirPro is loaded with umpteen features that are really cool and are also eco-friendly.

The enthusiastic founder took to Twitter to explain in detail, the features and the working of this revolutionary, game-changing vehicle. He informed that it took six years for Ola to come up with the final product that was birthed as an innovative and daring idea.

The video features various experts from the Ola team describing certain exceptional features of Ola AirPro. The ability to take off and land vertically, autopilot mode(perpetual), No Carbon Footprint, and many more.

Amazing features of Ola AirPro:

This car is loaded with amazing features and one of the most bizarre features of this car is its exceptional speed, ranging to about 350 km/hr in air and about 200 km/hr on land. The Ola team claims that the body of Ola AirPro is made from ‘Ola Alloy’ which is the amalgamation of sustainably sourced titanium, carbon fiber, and aluminum sourced from fighter jets like Rafale, F1 Cars, and soft drink cans.

As crazy and preposterous as it can sound, the Ola AirPro has to be charged only once in its lifetime. This is achieved as this car is equipped with a self-charging PuraCell battery Technology. The team claims that the battery would power itself while it runs!

The brand is also seen flaunting the lightness during its video launch. The team claims that the weight is so less, having bio-modeled the car on the avian osseous structure. Another mind-blowing feature is that the cabin is super silent. The Ola AirPro is equipped with the latest gen Noice-Cancellation feature that tackles and nullifies any and every noise from outside, be it land or air. And the absence of an engine will lead to silence on the inside as well.

The Jaw-Dropping Shocker Twist:

Here’s the Twist that you are all expecting. It’s a prank. Yeah, you read it right. All the super-cool features and the staggering innovations you had just read are all made-up jokes and nothing but a spoof. Bhavish Aggarwal and co, pulled an extremely deceiving one on their followers on the 1st of April.

Ola never stopped by just making a video, but went on to create a website, adorned with all the details of the promising, yet trance car. This announcement swept through social media like wildfire and many, many people fell prey to Ola’s on-point prank that marked April Fools Day.

The Ola executives who appeared in the announcement video can be found sporting black T-shirts with Ola AirPro printed on them. And Ola hilariously added that the interested people could book their test flights on the website olaairpro.com. Famous internet personalities like Chetan Bhagat, Amit Paranjape, and Ather Energy, to name a few, reacted to the prank on Twitter.

Conclusion:

This Flying Car seems to be so true and futuristic, but little did the world know that it was but, a hoax.
