We see a person at his miserable form and being capable of making someone rid of their misery is the best a profession one can ever pursue, the sense of joy and fulfilment that it provides is just something amazing, it can’t be compared that is why I choose this profession.

1. Tell us about your upbringing, background and journey?

Basically I am a Delhiite, grown here, this city had his own influence on me. As my father is a CRPF officer, he made sure that discipline is an integral part of my life and that discipline was a big reason behind my achievements.

If you ask about my journey then it has to be asked in context because everyone’s journey of life begins from the day we are born and it continues till we die. I am just 24 years old so I hope that I still have a lot of things to achieve, my journey till now has had a lot of ups and down, faced many set backs but still fighting trying to continue this adventurous journey called life, from a student, to a model, to an anchor, to a physiotherapist the journey was really tough and has its own good and bad moments.

2. Why did you choose to be a doctor and decide what you specifically want to do?

There was only one reason to be there in the medical field that is being knowledgeable enough so that I can empower others well for me being a Doctor is one of the most noble profession a person can choose.

We see a person at his miserable form and being capable of making someone rid of their misery is the best a profession one can ever pursue, the sense of joy and fulfilment that it provides is just something amazing, it can’t be compared that is why I choose this profession.

3. We salute your work during the pandemic, where did you get the inspiration to work so hard?

I got the inspiration to work hard from my father, he always told me that it doesn’t matter what you do but how you do it matters, so whatever I did I try to do the best that I can do.

4. How do you expect digital health to grow over the next 5 years?

Nowadays the health awareness has improved so much because of digital health and I think it’s going to grow tremendously in the next five years, digital health has made so many people health conscious and it will continue to do so, now a common man get health related information so simply in a touch which kind of revolutionised the health system, digital health is more about preventing illness than curing illness, so it will help in emergence of a healthy nation.

5. What are your concerns about Digital Health?

My main concern about digital health is that half baked information can sometimes cause more harm than benefit so whatever health related information given through digital platforms should be 100% scientifically accurate and should be complete covering all aspects

6. What is your message for aspiring doctors and the young generation? Which is the best medical college according to you?

My message is that you are in for a great profession and it’s going to demand a lot of effort from you so do it only if you passionate about it and never go after money in this profession because the satisfaction of curing someone will make you so happy and money can never provide such kind of happiness.

Best medical colleges for students, if you are ready to work hard then college doesn’t matter because in medical profession your efforts to gain knowledge and apply it makes you competent, college don’t have much role

7. What does your typical day look like and what do you like to do besides work?

My typical day can get as hectic as possible , but I never miss an opportunity to do something better because at the end of day right before going to sleep, the satisfaction of making a slight difference in someone’s life for better is enough for me to have a great sleep.

Apart from a physiotherapist I am an anchor also and I love doing that also because it satisfies the traveller, lover of all forms of art in me , but right now my whole focus is on our health system and right now our country demands 100% effort from all the health workers and from the people to follow the health advice and be safe and try to reduce the immense burden on our health system.
