I never tried looking back since then. Got training from Mr. Millind Mullick and Mr. Praful Sawant through their workshops. My work has been part of some global exhibitions including IWS-Poland, Japan Watercolor Society, etc. I am an associate member with Japan International Watercolor Institute. Currently working on developing an online course also for beginners.
1. Tell us about your background and journey.
I started paintings at the age of 4, with inspiration from a gift of sketch pens on my birthday from my friend. Got the opportunity of refining my skills when I moved to Ahmedabad in 2013 with my teacher Mr. Kishor Sinh Rathor. This was followed by continued inspiration coming from various quarters including school. Major boost came when my painting was selected for an exhibition in Jaipur.

2. What inspired you to pursue art?
Like I said, it was just an inspiration gathered from a various small incidence. If I recollect one, then winning a contest organized by Tata Motors for kids in my society in Gurgaon helped me focus more on the art.
Appreciation from senior artists, school teachers, my family, my social media followers, and buyers of my art is driving me on the path of continuous improvement.
3. How would you describe your art style and aesthetics?
I love nature. My art mostly moves around nature only. I work only with watercolors and work with natural sceneries, nature creatures – birds, animals, plants, etc. I like making fishes and lotuses the most.
4. What challenges do you face as an artist and how do you overcome them?
I think, not many challenges as of now. Yes, creative block is one of the challenges. You need to give some rest to your work sometimes. After this small rest, I just go back to basics and start making some random art to overcome creative block.
5. Who is your favorite artist and why?
Many Indian and global artists are my favorite ones. They have their own styles, so you can not really name the one. Millind. Mullick, Bijay Biswal, Young-Sung Kim, Thierry Duval, etc. are a few.
I like the distinguished style of Hieu Nguyen. He combines anime and watercolors beautifully and produces a fusion of semi-realistic portraiture with deep-hued and gold leaf colors.
6. Who do you admire the most and why?
I like Mr. Milind Mullick a lot. His professionalism and his love for teaching beginners are the qualities I look for while growing in my career. I learned a lot using his books on watercolors.
7. What tips and advice would you give to aspiring artists?
Tips are just related to experimentation. Never fear experimentation, keep doing experiments. Experiments are the things, which teach you the most. You will develop your own tips and style as an outcome of this.
I am not much experienced to give any advice, but what I try always is to keep myself always positive and work with all my natural ease to be with peace of mind always. This can be taken as advice.
