I think anybody from outside, whatever they wanna do I think they should not get attracted to the glamour. But they should work on craft. If they wanna do something if they wanna seek consistency in their profession.
1. Tell us more about your background and journey?
So I started out with the reality show called MTV Splitsvilla 2 and then things started popping up for me, and then this is what I wanted to do always and yes this reality show worked well for me to enter into this industry and I think I have got very popularity with this show and then things worked out well.
2. Did you ever think or dream of being an actor?
Yes, I always thought about being an actor.
3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to become an actor?
I think it's persistence and tenacity in your work. If you wanna do something just have to decide and once you decide just have to keep working and acting on it. There won't be all sunny days but you have to keep added it as long as you decide to not give up and keep adding more in it and you only have one thing in your mind. I think it eventually falls in its place.
4. If not this, what would you be doing?
I would be trying to become an actor.
5. For a complete outsider or with inroads, what advice would you like to give?
I think anybody from outside, whatever they wanna do I think they should not get attracted to the glamour. But they should work on craft. If they wanna do something if they wanna seek consistency in their profession.
It's a lot of hard work, it's a lot of persistence, it's a lot of pressure that you have to go through but if this is what you love, then this is what you should do. I think when to inch down to you should just pursue what you love because when you love something then you able to persevere even more so I think that's what it should be.
6. What is your mantra for success?
I think persistence, tenacity and keep learning.
7. Which is your favorite book and why?
'The Alchemist' is my favourite book because it teaches you a lesson that everybody is sitting on their own treasure. You just have to explore it by yourself. So you have to go anywhere you just have to keep exploring yourself and find yourself. Once you do a lot of things get easy and they fall in place for you.
