1. Tell us about your background and journey.
Moksh Murgai is 20 years old talented, Hardworking athlete. This lad has impressed everybody with his bat over a period of time.
Moksh is a right-handed batsman & an off-spinner. Moksh has played nationals at various categories is Under 14, Under 16 & Under 19. He started his career at the age of 7 and achieved a lot in his cricketing career. Moksh has also played Interzonal (District) & Zonal level cricket.
He scored many runs in the domestic circuit too. He has scored more than 850+ runs with 20+ wickets in DDCA League 2018-19. He has more than 30+ centuries followed up by 50+ half-centuries in local/tournament matches to date. He is an allrounder batsman. Moksh has represented India in a tournament in Lucknow in 2018-19.
By scoring many runs at the local/tournament level, He got signed/contract/Sponsors by Sh sports, Meerut in 2019-20 Adding to his achievements, Moksh is elected as sports president of Delhi University Students Union -2019-2020. Moksh has also attended Railways Ranji trophy and under 23 camps.
2. How did you decide to make your passion your career? Was your family supportive?
When I started getting achievements at the initial stage of my cricketing career. I decided to opt for this as my career.
3. Who is your favourite player and what have you learnt from him/her?
Though, there are many favourite cricketers. But I learnt a lot from Nitish Rana (IPL star). He is from Delhi only. And also I really like Dhoni because of his calmness.
4. What is the level of commitment and time required to make a sport a career?
I believe when you are opting for sports as your career, the energy and the dedication & hard work should be 120%. And your mindset should be clear that you've to do something big in this only. As far as time is concerned as a student you should know how to manage sports and studies together.
5. How can we encourage more youngsters to take up sports as a full-time profession?

6. Which is your favourite book and why?
Though I am not a big lover of books, as a sportsman, I can say "Playing it my way" which is the biography of Sachin Tendulkar is my favourite book.
