1. Tell us more about your company and your journey.
My name is Ali Naqvi, a self-made person, I was born and raised in Pakistan and moved to the UK to complete my education. When I came to the UK I had just enough money to survive for maybe a month or so, then I’m supposed to get a job and support my family as everyone else does, unfortunately, things were not in my favors like hard to find a job, relatives didn’t support, they just laughed or used me for their own benefits, in that time when it was hard to get a job, I had a vision of my own company, obviously it was impossible for some people and told me not to even think about it.
But I didn’t let anyone tell me otherwise, even though working odd jobs I was working on my company Naqvi Enterprise, Name of successful, multinational, and multi-purpose company, such as a realtor, cryptocurrencies and so much more opportunities.
I started this company with just a vision, I believed in my lord/Allah and myself, I knew it won’t be an easy journey especially when people are constantly trying to discourage me, and trying to stop me. But you know if there’s a will there’s a way, which is 100% true, I had a will and God helped me by showing me the way to success, and thank god, today I’m as successful as anyone could ask or dream of.
2. How did you come up with this idea and go about executing it?
You know when you see your family struggles, and you see people around you don’t want to help just want to bring you down, then I decided that I’ll do something so special that everyone is going to be proud of me and would love to know me.
That being said, I’ve always wanted to achieve and always motivated myself, especially when people started laughing at the ideas or effort I was putting together to be successful, that gave me the extra energy, support, and courage to execute this idea on my own, where I want to be well known by working hard and being able to recognize myself in the industry. I didn’t take any courses or any classes to be successful, no one does we all have in us.
3. What has been your biggest challenge that you faced and how did you overcome that?
People’s belief that was the biggest challenge, their support, but unfortunately they didn’t take me seriously and never trusted me as well, and I didn’t say anything, but today I get calls and messages from the Same people who want me to start a business with them, or they’re ready to invest in my business, hard work never holds you back.
Today, I want to help anyone I can, with their vision. Sometimes you just need a little courage, just comforting words or confidence from someone who can tell you nothing is impossible, but we don’t have that luxury to give anyone, that’s why I’ve promised myself to help everyone I can, and guide them through the process as well.
4. What do you think are the most important qualities of a successful entrepreneur?
In order to be a successful Entrepreneur, you gotta think big, think outside the box, gotta be a focus on a commitment, not motivation, seek knowledge, not results, get rid of stagnating thoughts, get rid of distractions, don’t rely on others
Understands the market, outcome of the process and your clients, and their needs, it can’t be only what you want to achieve you have to make sure your clients are as happy as you are then nothing can beat that height of success, peace of mind, and satisfaction.
Clients' satisfaction is as mandatory as your success, so I made sure I’m not the only one getting benefits from my company, that is the main key to be successful and run a well-known business.
5. What are some of the most important factors for running a successful business?
Never give up, look at the success even it’s a small one, but never let any failures hold you back, as people say no star is out of reach, you can’t ever think that you’re successful enough to stop trying, you work hard and constant to keep your place in the industry, being successful is a constant responsibility, same as you have a kid to raise
6. Do you have discretion over investments?
I would say 50/50, sometimes I’ve always relied on being discreet about investment and sometimes I don’t. It is no secret that people are investing in the market nowadays. What seems oblivious isn’t always true, with directions and discussion you can make safe investments.
7. How can one overcome a hurdle of lack of funds when starting up?
No one is born with the golden spoon, I wasn’t born with one as well, I was never funded or neither supported by anyone, I’ve worked several jobs to achieve my dream business, so I would say work hard towards your dreams and nothing is out of reach, I overcome by working hard, not expecting anything from anyone. Realized that I’m by myself and nothing was hard to get.
