Book Review

This book’s first chapter is named “Pay it forward” and the last chapter as “Country First” shows how cohesively interlinked and progressed forward with a measured idea, as it comprises altogether 16 chapters.

Here the author wanted every Indian to dream of a beautiful India, a compassionate and caring society, free from poverty and crime, and an efficient Govt. It would help us to lead the world in the field of business and technology and the world will look to us with amazement and pride.

The author also felt that we have the entire ingredient to create an ideal country – talented people, abundant natural resources, a functioning democracy, and an appetite for growth and development. But it has remained in vain till now and we still dream of it.

In another chapter of the book, the author discusses the human behaviors with the children and their effects in either way; good or evil. We have a major problem, especially with our children. They often tell lies. Who tells them to tell lies?

Shiv explained everything after asking this question. In the answer to his own asked question, Shiv exemplified a child. According to him, it is the primary group (family) that teaches the steps passed by telling lies to their kids. Parents’ every action counts as they are always the role models for their children.

A child gets socialized to tell more and more lies all because of their actions. The child gets gradually converted into dishonest individuals.

Practicing makes a man permanently perfect only if they practice loyalty, honesty, loving, and caring then only the child will become honest, loyal, loving, and caring or else a dishonest person in the future.

Before doing any bad and illegal activity in front of the children we should think a thousand times. So that they should not be in the habit of those things as the children are always the followers of their parents.

About the Book

This book was a result of the author's anguish and refusal to tolerate injustice, corruption, and oppression any further. AS he calls up his countrymen to stand up and fight for principles and help in reforming society.

This book is a wake-up call for those whose conscience has gone to sleep but is not yet dead. Those people whose hearts beat and weep for India are called up majorly in this book.

Personal Verdict

The book was very much interesting and full of such motivational examples and stories which will not let the readers be bored. I myself have gotten a bundle of ways of solving the problems I face in my daily life.

And I believe everyone who will read the book, written by Shiv Khera, will be motivated and inspired to do something for the betterment of other colleagues and even strangers. I suggest the readers read the book at once in your life if you await a change in your life.

The Bottom Line

You should definitely have a look at this to get some inspiration and if you ever felt down or negative in your life then this book is a go for you. It helps people to heal and see the bright sides after the darkest moments.

My ratings for the book - 4.5 on 5
