When I see my team members sharing the same drive and passion as me when it comes to Ezyschooling’s mission, it makes me really proud and makes me want to keep progressing and take the company to new heights for them.
1. Tell us more about your company and your journey.
Ezyschooling is a unique tech-enabled platform that is revolutionizing the cumbersome admissions process for both schools and parents. But it is more than just a single-utility company. We have created a strong community of parents who visit our site to get all information related to parenting from our multiple channels such as Impactinars, expert articles, parenting news, live sessions, etc.
2. How did you come up with this idea and go about executing it?
My elder brother was trying to find the right school for his child’s admission. When I noticed how miserable the current admissions scenario was where parents had to visit each school individually to fill their forms, I decided to do something about it. With Ezyschooling, a parent has to fill only one form and is able to apply to multiple schools of their choice, from the comfort of their homes.
3. What is your company's unique value proposition and what sets it apart from its competitors?
Ezyschooling has managed to carve out a market for itself. Our “one form, multiple schools” admissions solution paired with our first-mover advantage in this virgin market has gained us a marquee position in the admissions and parenting market segments.
4. What makes you happiest and most effective when working with others?
When I see my team members sharing the same drive and passion as me when it comes to Ezyschooling’s mission, it makes me really proud and makes me want to keep progressing and take the company to new heights for them.
5. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced along the way, and how did you respond to them?
By far the biggest challenge was responding to the devastating pandemic. Being an admissions platform, the closure of schools and every other institution meant the end of admission-seeking parents.
But after that initial storm, we have been stronger than ever. The pandemic taught us to adapt to harsh situations and in the end, we are a better company because of it.
6. One piece of advice that you would like to give to your younger self?
To maximize the ROI on every single rupee spent and not taking any expense lightly. That is to see the bigger picture and create different revenue channels so that the company can have a longer life and be self-reliant.
7. Which is your favorite book and why?
You Can Win by Shiv Khera has been a personal inspiration that has paved my way as an entrepreneur. It has taught me the importance of having a positive outlook on things and having a ‘Never Quit!’ attitude.
