Gaurav Pathak - If You Are Passionate Towards Your Work Then Everything Goes Well But If You Lack In Passion Then Your Posts Reach, But Other Things Don't Go Well (Food Blogger, India)

I never went to any fancy restaurant so after seeing so many food related posts on instagram I made my mind to go eat food and then start a blog the best part about my food blogging journey is I made lots of friends...

1. Tell us about your background and journey?

I am gaurav pathak, recently completed B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from HMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT. I started this page when I was in second year on 3 January 2019. when I started food blogging actually I didn't know what food blogging was.

I saw people posting pictures on instagram eating food and before food blogging I never went to any fancy restaurant so after seeing so many food related posts on instagram I made my mind to go eat food and then start a blog the best part about my food blogging journey is I made lots of friends.

In beginning no one knows me but yeah after an year everyone acknowledges me, I didnt know how to click pictures. I didnt know any angles. After meeting few good friends they taught me what food blogging is. They taught me and guide me to take a perfect picture. yeah I am enjoying it.

2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

My favourite cuisne is north indian. I love north indian food. The dish I love the most in Non veg is Butter chicken from sandoz, sandoz butter chicken is best, sandoz serves the best butter chicken.

I love to have butter chicken with butter naan and coke and in veg I love paneer lababdar. and in starters tandoori chicken and afghani chaap in veg.

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

Yeah many people think blogging is too easy like they see we get food and they call it free food. But actually its not like that we go and take 4 to 5 hr to shoot proper kitchen videos and then click pictures, then edit it then we upload it on our social handles.

If you have passion then everything goes well but if you lack in passion then your posts reach and all other things dont go well. yeah many bloggers make food blogging their career if you are geting enough money from food blogging then why should you go for a job.

When you know the field very well. then why should you choose a new field. thats my point. so in food blogging if you see long term benefit then lots of benefits you will get.

4. Which restaurants /foodjoints would you recommend to food lovers?

I recommend Echoes, cafeteria & co, ricos, by the bay in gtb nagar, nomnom cafe in safdarjung enclave, kaarobaar in rajendar place. Their ambience is amazing.

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

I want to appreciate the people who make wonderful dish. Its not possible for everyone to make dishes that tastes same. As I am a non veg lover, I appreciate the all chefs who make awesome butter chicken.

For making awesome dish everything matters food quality, product quality. What you give, hygiene of the kitchen, cleanliness, everything matters.

6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

No there is no specific dish but yes I love momos.

Tandoori and Afghani momos are my favorite.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

Actually I dont read books.
