I used to work as a makeup artist.  But I have always felt that I like doing my own makeup more than doing makeup for other people. 

I have always enjoyed creating content and always dreamed of having many followers.

You have to be creative and communicative. Be professional. 

Personally for me it was so difficult emotionally. 

 I'm a bit of an introvert, so being a blogger is more suitable for me.

Don't be afraid to break the "rules" of makeup.  Be open to experiments, because this is how a masterpiece can be created.

1. Tell me about you and your journey.

My name is Marina. On TikTok - molchanovamua. As a child, I graduated from art school, then I completed makeup courses, and worked as a makeup artist for a couple of years.

But I always knew that blogging was more interesting to me. I came to Tiktok a little over a year ago as a student.  

After graduating from the university, I continued to actively develop my social networks, now this is my full work.

2. Why did you chose this career?

I used to work as a makeup artist.  But I have always felt that I like doing my own makeup more than doing makeup for other people.

3. How can one build a clientele as a makeup artist?

You have to be creative and communicative. Be professional. Personally for me it was so difficult emotionally.

4. What are some of your top makeup tips?

Don't be afraid to break the "rules" of makeup.  Be open to experiments, because this is how a masterpiece can be created.

5. What kind of job opportunities one can get after becoming a make up artist?

Now there are a lot of options.  You can work in a salon, or you can look for clients yourself and work on your brand. 

You can create your own blog, which I did, and work online.  For example, create your own online makeup courses.

6. Which professional courses would you suggest for aspiring artists?

Lots of free tutorials on youtube.  I advise you to start with them to get basic knowledge.  Then you can buy online courses from famous makeup artists.  

But, as important in makeup is practice.  You must constantly train your abilities.  Only in this way will your skills become better.
