Navya Singh - Never Give Up (Motivational Speaker From India)

If I can do it then you all can do it and that's my belief in life.

1. Tell us more about what you do and what led you to speak on this platform.

Hi, My name is Navya Singh I was born in a Punjabi Sardar conservative family. I was the eldest grandson in my house. I was born as a boy and my journey had realised me that something is special in me. It realised to me that being held in the village if I can make my own identity in the city of dreams called Mumbai where people have to face the most struggles and can stand on their own feet and fight for my own body of who I am then maybe I can do work to motivate other people.

I feel that somewhere my voice can work for many people, people who are like me, people who can't stand for them and have the fear of the world that what people will say and many more. By raising my voice I feel that I am the voice of many people and I can motivate many people.

2. How do you choose and prepare for a talk?

I never prepared whenever I was invited as a guest speaker I just speak out what my heart says what my emotions say.
We as motivational speakers never come prepared when we feel that that stage is yours all your emotions come on their own. You just have to feel that the stage is yours, the audience is yours they are waiting for you to speak and inspired by you. When the audience will interact with you and just feel all your emotions then automatically you will speak with all your heart and emotions

3. How can one become a public speaker?

Becoming public speaker, firstly you want to know who you are, what's going inside you
When you will understand yourself then only you will get to know another person. For me the biggest fight is to know who I am, today when I came to know myself very well, I used to love myself well then I can motivate, I can motivate the people who are like me. If I don't love myself and say publically that love myself then this is not possible, becoming a public speaker you have to be confident, you have to be confident about yourself and about you have to be proud of your journey

4. Can motivational speaking become a full-time career?

Of course, it can be, motivational speaking can be a full-time career. If you reach the peak in this and you're the best in this then you can be a guide to someone, you can be a coach, you can be a motivational speaker and I think this is an outstanding career who are proceeding towards it, they can make their good name.

5. Which is your favourite talk ever and how did it change your life?

I still remember I was in TEDx and recently I had given my interview in Josh talk and seriously I'm telling you after this platform when I was invited as a speaker, by this firstly my confidence boost and secondly an important thing that people is knowing my story they are knowing my journey, all are understanding me and that's really matters me a lot. By knowing my journey I'm damn sure the people who belong to the transgender community and children who are in their closet and afraid of facing people outside or we can say the parents who are not understanding their children, by this somewhere I become the voice of their too

6. What are the best public speaking tips that have worked for you?

The best public speaking tips, if I say that what works for me the most is just 'NEVER GIVE UP'. If I can do it then you all can do it and that's my belief in life if coming from a village and after facing a lot of issues I can make my own identity and become a model then you can also

7. What impact do you want to make in the world?

Since, when I was in my childhood, my childhood was taken away, and my love was gone. I just wanted to tell the world that no matter what your child is boy, girl, third gender, A+ community or LGBTQ just accept them as they are because they come from you they are part of your soul if you don't accept them love them then who will. Give them your love which they needed the most because of what I lost in my childhood I still remember everything

8. Which is your favourite book and why?

If I say about books like I don't read books much, I'm not that much attracted towards books but yes nature attracts me a lot so you can say I read nature, I love travelling, I love greenery environment, mountains are my love, sitting in the forest, hearing the voice of birds makes me relax. When I was in my zone, in my space and sitting under the sky, I found many ways to live my life. For me, that's my favourite book which I always love to read.
