Functioning since 1924, Wenger’s is known to be the oldest bakery in Delhi. Cakes, pastries, waffles, pies, salads, hotdogs and many other delicacies are being served here. People come from far and wide just to taste the food served here, hence adding to the legendary status of the outlet.

4. Karim’s
While talking of food in Delhi, how can we miss the OG Karim’s? Due to its authentic taste, Karim’s is immensely popular for its Mughlai cuisine. Although there are 15 outlets of Karim’s in Delhi and NCR, the original has been serving near Jama Masjid since 1913. If you love non-vegetarian food, visiting this place is worth it.

From my personal experience, I can say, it serves one of the best Chhole Bhature in Delhi. Started as a small shop in central Delhi, it has expanded to be a full-fledged restaurant serving authentic Chhole Bhature with onion, chutney and pickle. 6. Kake da Hotel
Beginning in 1931, Kake da Hotel has been serving mouth-watering delicious, luscious food. Out of their entire menu, three of their dishes are the most popular. People gather there mostly for butter chicken, dal makhani and their buttery naan.

7. Parathe Wali Gali
Who doesn’t know about the very popular “Parathe Wali Gali”? Known for various varieties of Parathe, in fact, many are not even so common, people have a craze for Parathe wali gali. Since we are talking about the oldest, there is a place called “Pandit Gaya Prasad Shiv Charan Prathewala shop”. It was believed to be established in 1872 but earned its name in the 1960s.
