Essential Minerals and Vitamins for a Healthy Body

What Is a Balanced Diet?

A balanced diet contains an adequate amount of vitamins, minerals, protein, fat, and carbohydrates required by our body to maintain our health and to fight against many diseases and bacteria which can cause problems to our health.

In the human body, there are 16 main different minerals required and several in small amounts. The 24 minerals required by the human body which are essential for health are calcium, phosphorous, potassium, sodium, chloride, magnesium, iron, zinc, iodine, sulfur, cobalt, copper, fluoride,  manganese, and selenium.

To maintain our good health one should always follow a good and healthy routine by taking a balanced diet containing all these minerals in the required quantity by the human body. These days people prefer to cook less and eat more. To eat tasty, not healthy.

If we look at our current situations many people are suffering from diabetes, typhoid, viral, thyroid, various kind of allergies, deficiency of iron, migraines, etc., as these days people mostly prefer junk food over healthy food which doesn’t fulfill all the minerals required by a human body. And not just minerals there are various vitamins required by the human body.

Vitamins Required by Our Body

First of all, these discuss the 13 essential vitamins required by a human body

Vitamins help the human body to grow and work to its full potential and its limits. Vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, B6, B12, and folate).

Here are some vitamins used and their sources-

1. Vitamin A- Vitamin A helps us to acquire healthy vision, nourished and healthy skin, strong bones and teeth, and healthy reproduction criteria. Proper consumption of liver, eggs, fish, milk, carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and spinach can be a good source of vitamin A.

8. Vitamin B12- Hemoglobin is a very important part of our body also known as red blood cells which are made by vitamin B12 and it also helps in breaking down fatty acids and amino acids.

9. Vitamin C- It improves our immune system, also acts as an antioxidant, and helps to make new cells.

Why All Kind of Food Is Important?

Every mineral is important in our human body. Even when a person tries to lose weight and follows a strict diet, a nutritionist never suggests they not eat. Instead, they make their health fewer calories and less fat-containing items as they also contain some type of minerals and vitamins, protein and the required amount of glucose in our body which is required by them during their diet and to stay healthy and fit otherwise it may cause them serious health issues like weakness, diabetes, lack of energy which may affect them physically as well as mentally as it causes anxiety issues too.

Likewise goes for people who try to gain weight, they too need to follow a proper diet with some sort of exercise as it gives a better structure to the human body.

It depends a lot on how you take your diet while having your workout days. Most nutritionists prefer that if a person is losing weight they should avoid eating just after dinner and if they are trying to gain they should immediately have something full of protein just after their workout sections.
