Tanusha Arora - I Offer The Advice To Seize The Moment And Embark On Their Content Creation Journey Without Hesitation (LinkedIn Top Voice)

When faced with creative challenges, my go-to method is to take a step back and pause. I refrain from forcing content creation, as it often leads to subpar results. Instead, I take a break, engage with my surroundings, and observe.

1. Tell us about your content creation journey and which creation are you most proud of and why?

My content creation journey began during my final year as a student at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi. I interned with EXL and Havells and have been actively engaged in content creation on LinkedIn for the past 1.5 years. Recently, I was honored with the 'Top Voice' badge (blue), a recognition I value deeply. Initially, I used content creation as a means of journaling my observations.

My first post discussed the underrated aspects of SSCBS, gradually leading me to embrace the platform as a content creator. The creation I am most proud of is a post about emotional storytelling, where I explored how different brands employ this tactic to enhance brand recall. This post was featured by LinkedIn News under their story titled 'The Rise of Emotive Marketing'. For me, genuine communication of knowledge holds more significance than mere numbers, and this accomplishment resonates with that belief.

2. How do you stay inspired in a fast-paced digital world?

Inspiration is inherent to me, akin to breathing. Despite experiencing deep lows, such as the loss of my father in 2022, and transitioning to an independent life due to an over-protective family, I've found resilience within myself. While the world moves at a rapid pace, I take solace in my identity and roots, preferring to navigate life at my own rhythm. I prioritize self-awareness and authenticity, choosing the road less traveled over conforming to societal pressures. Thus, I find inspiration from within, continuously striving for self-improvement.

3. What advice would you give to aspiring creators?

To aspiring creators, I offer the advice to seize the moment and embark on their content creation journey without hesitation. Waiting for the perfect idea or post only hinders progress. Fear of rejection or low engagement often paralyzes aspiring creators, but they must overcome these obstacles with confidence. I encourage them to believe that these 'what-ifs' are merely illusions meant to deter them. By observing their surroundings and honing their presentation skills, they can carve their unique path to success through consistency and authenticity.

4. What's your favorite part of the creative process?

My favorite part of the creative process undoubtedly lies in ideation. The inception of an idea sparks a cascade of thoughts, prompting me to delve deeper, research extensively, and broaden my knowledge. Ideation not only facilitates the creation of compelling content for my audience but also enriches my understanding and confidence in what I post. Though time-consuming, when executed effectively, ideation elevates the entire creative output to extraordinary heights.

5. What's your go-to method for overcoming creative challenges?

When faced with creative challenges, my go-to method is to take a step back and pause. I refrain from forcing content creation, as it often leads to subpar results. Instead, I take a break, engage with my surroundings, and observe. Observation serves as the key to unlocking creative blocks, as it exposes me to new perspectives and ideas. Maintaining a repository of observations allows me to draw inspiration whenever needed, ensuring a steady flow of creativity.

6. If you could magically acquire one new skill overnight, what would it be and why?

If given the chance, I would choose the ability to fulfill the wishes of others (with certain conditions, of course). Witnessing the struggles of individuals deprived of basic necessities on a daily basis tugs at my heartstrings. With this magical skill, I could bring joy and relief to those in need, fostering a world filled with love and compassion amidst the prevalent negativity.
