1. Can you tell us a little about yourself and what inspired you to start sharing healthy meal recipes on social media?

I've always had a passion for cooking and enjoyed experimenting with recipes. The idea to start a social media channel came from a casual conversation with my husband and brother. We noticed that many people were looking for easy, nutritious recipes, and we wanted to help meet that need. That’s how my journey into sharing healthy meal recipes began.

2. What are some common misconceptions about healthy eating that you wish more people understood?

A common misconception is that healthy eating is solely about eating less to lose weight or more to gain weight. In reality, it's about maintaining a balanced diet that meets your body’s nutritional needs. This includes a mix of fiber, carbohydrates, and protein to support muscle building, overall health, and daily functioning, regardless of your weight goals.

3. What are some of your go-to ingredients that you believe everyone should have in their kitchen for healthy cooking?

For healthy cooking, I recommend having these staples:

Spices: Turmeric, red chili powder, coriander, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, Kasuri methi, and red chili flakes.

Essential Oils: Ghee and olive oil.

Herbs: Oregano and chili flakes.

These ingredients are versatile and can enhance the flavor and nutritional value of various dishes.

4. Tell us about one of your favorite recipes.

One of my favorite recipes is rolls—whether made with chicken, paneer, or eggs. It’s simple to prepare, perfect for batch cooking, and always a hit with family and friends.

5. Could you share some of the biggest challenges you face in maintaining a healthy diet, and how do you overcome them?

One major challenge is resisting unhealthy snacks. I address this by keeping only nutritious options at home and preparing healthy snacks in advance. I also allow myself occasional indulgences to maintain a balanced approach.

6. What’s your favorite indulgence food, and how do you balance it with your healthy lifestyle?

My favorite indulgence is Maggi noodles. To balance it with a healthy lifestyle, I enhance the dish with plenty of vegetables and protein sources like paneer or eggs. This makes the meal more nutritious while still satisfying my cravings.
