"Each character I portray holds a special place in my heart, and the journey of bringing them to life is what truly makes acting fulfilling"
1. What inspired you to pursue acting at such a young age, and how did your journey begin?
Acting has always been a deep passion of mine, dating back to my early childhood. I vividly remember imitating actors and learning dialogues from movies as soon as I could talk. My journey began in the 3rd grade when I landed my first role in the film The Great Father. This initial role sparked a love for acting that led me to perform in 12 Malayalam films and 5 Tamil films. The joy of bringing characters to life on screen and the thrill of storytelling drove me to pursue this path relentlessly.
2. What has been your favorite role so far, and what made it special to you?
It's challenging to pinpoint a single favorite role as each character I've portrayed holds a special place in my heart. Every role has been unique and contributed to my growth as an actor. The diversity of characters I've played allows me to explore different facets of human emotion and experience, making each role memorable in its own right. The emotional connection and the personal growth from each role make every experience special to me.
3. How do you balance school and your acting career, and what tips do you have for other young aspiring actors?
Balancing school and an acting career requires immense support and dedication. I am incredibly grateful to my Chairman, teachers, friends, and, most importantly, my parents for their unwavering support. They have played a crucial role in helping me manage both my academic responsibilities and my acting pursuits. For other young aspiring actors, my advice is to stay persistent and focused. Embrace every opportunity, even if it doesn't always lead to immediate success.
They have played a crucial role in helping me manage both my academic responsibilities and my acting pursuits. For other young aspiring actors, my advice is to stay persistent and focused. Embrace every opportunity, even if it doesn't always lead to immediate success. My own journey involved many auditions where I wasn’t selected, but perseverance helped me achieve my dreams. Remember, if you truly desire something, the world will often align to help you achieve it.
4. Can you share a memorable or funny moment from behind the scenes of any of your films?
While there isn't a single standout funny incident that comes to mind, the experience of working on set is often filled with moments of laughter and camaraderie. The spontaneous interactions and light-hearted banter with fellow cast and crew members always make the experience enjoyable and memorable.
5. Who are your biggest inspirations in the film industry, and how have they influenced your work?
I draw inspiration from a wide array of celebrities whose life experiences and acting skills have significantly influenced my work. Observing their journeys, the dedication they exhibit, and their craft has motivated me to refine my own skills and approach to acting. Each of them has contributed to shaping my perspective and has driven me to continually strive for excellence in my own career.
6. If you could act alongside any actor or actress, who would it be and why?
It’s difficult to choose just one, as there are numerous legendary actors and actresses I would be honored to work with. Each of them brings a unique style and depth to their performances, and the opportunity to collaborate with such esteemed individuals would be an invaluable learning experience. I hope to work alongside many of these great talents and contribute to memorable and impactful films.
