"Fashion is a reflection of your inner self. It's a mirror image of your thoughts, emotions, character, and space of mind."
Q. What inspired you to start your journey into fashion and styling, and how has it evolved over time?
Fashion has always been my first love. Even as a kid, I used to collect fashion magazines and look at them with awe and excitement. This love led me to join fashion designing as I wanted to make fashion my career, but destiny had other plans. I had to drop out of that and start my career as an EMCEE. Being a short girl, fashion helped me stand out on stage and amidst everyone else. Fashion was my secret power, which would shield and help me fight my insecurity about height.
It's then when I dabbled into blogging by chance. Getting to know of Camilla Coelho and Song of Style boosted my confidence and inspired me to take my fashion game a step further and, in a way, fulfill my dream of making fashion my career. Slowly, as I grew with my audience, my styling stood out. Getting to know about a plethora of people finding their voice through my fashion videos and styling posts boosted my confidence to double and triple down on this journey, and it still continues to feed my confidence and inspires me to move forward with it.
My styling has evolved over the years too. It has evolved by being in sync with the fashion trends but also according to what suits me. It has evolved along with me. I have evolved. Fashion is a reflection of your inner self. It's a mirror image of your thoughts, emotions, character, and space of mind. As you go through life, subtly, fashion changes according to how your mentality changes. So, as I evolved from a girl to a woman, it evolved from being peppy to elegant and classy. It changed with me being aware of who I am, who I have become, who I am becoming, and who I want to become in the future. It is a reflection and also walks hand in hand with your aspirations.
Q. What’s the most rewarding part of sharing your passion for fashion with such a large audience?
The most rewarding part is the fact that, in some way, I am part of their lives and have a hand in them gaining confidence in wearing the clothes they thought they wouldn't be able to. Being a 5ft girl, I know there are a lot of outfits that we can't wear as easily as people who are taller.
Sharing my fashion tips with people and them using that to accentuate their image and confidence is just a fabulous feeling. Somewhere, thousands of kilometers away, there's a girl who saw my videos and can now use fashion to put her best self forward and use styling to open doors in life that they didn't think they could have. Just simply that a 5ft girl can dress immaculately for the office so that people don't see her height as a minus but are in awe of her fashion being a plus.
Q. What’s your go-to styling tip for someone who wants to look fashionable on a budget?
Basics. Basics. Basics. Always have ample basics. You can use them to make chic looks. If you do that, you will never have any "nothing to wear" situation.
Always stock up on items from good brands during sale time. Keep it always minimal—minimal on jewelry and colors. Don't overdo anything. A nice synergy from colors to outfit to jewelry works.
Q. If you could collaborate with any brand for fashion or jewelry, which one would it be and why?
I am blessed and would be excited to work with any brand that would come my way. I have collaborated with so many brands, and I really don't have any one specific brand that I would like to collaborate with. I would love to collaborate with all the brands that resonate with my fashion and my voice.
Q. What’s one fashion trend you absolutely love, and one you think should go away?
One fashion trend I absolutely love is Old Money-inspired outfits, and one I would love to go away is low-waist anything!
Q. How do you keep up with the latest trends and still maintain your unique style?
Well, I study a lot. I absolutely keep up with the fashion weeks and shows happening around the world. Along with that, I study fashion channels, pages (on IG), articles, and fashion influencers from around the world. I study all of that and blend it with what I resonate with to make a nice cocktail of the current trend with a hint of The Fashion Chauvinist in it. Cheers!

She is a natural philosopher and a self made woman although she herself believes that no one is self made, everyone is helped by situations, both positive and negative. It's the people, interactions, love, heartbreak, laughs and tears that mould one person to build up to something spectacular. An introvert to the world but an absolute ball of fire to everyone who knows her. Fiercely independent woman who has build her life and brand all by herself.
A beautiful contradiction and a fierce flag bearer of Grit.
