Q. You’ve worked in films like Tamasha, Bombay Velvet, Yaara, and Lashtam Pashtam. Can you share a memorable experience from one of these projects?
There have been so many memorable experiences throughout my journey that it is difficult to recall just one. However, a few moments stand out vividly in my memory. On the sets of Tamasha, there was a fun competition among the crew members to see who could finish gud and mirch ke parathe the fastest, which always led to a lot of laughter and camaraderie.
On the set of Bombay Velvet, I was in complete awe of the massive, intricately designed set that recreated old Bombay. Walking through those streets felt like stepping back in time, and it was a surreal experience to witness such attention to detail.
For Lashtam Pashtam, I remember running around Dubai’s bustling Gold Souk for a scene, which was both exhausting and exhilarating. The market was lively, and shooting in the middle of real crowds added an element of authenticity to the experience.
But honestly, it’s not just these individual moments—it’s the entire process of shooting a film that remains special to me. Every project has given me something to cherish, and the journey itself has been incredibly memorable.
Q. How did you get into acting, and what inspired you to pursue this career?
My entry into acting was actually a complete coincidence—something I still find funny to this day! My mother was going for an audition, and I had simply accompanied her. While we were there, the casting director noticed me and asked my mom if I could audition too. At that time, I had never even stood in front of a camera before, let alone acted. But I thought, why not? I gave the audition, and to my surprise, I got selected! That was my very first audition, and it turned out to be the beginning of my journey in the film industry.
It has been 13 years since that day, and I have never looked back. I wouldn’t say that I had a specific inspiration who led me to choose this path; rather, it was my love for acting that made me pursue this career. Acting, for me, is not just a profession but a passion that keeps me going. The ability to bring a character to life and tell a story through performance is something I truly enjoy, and that is what continues to drive me every day.
Q. Among the different roles you have played, is there one that is particularly close to your heart? If so, why?
The role that is closest to my heart—and the one that has never truly left me—is Ved Vardhan Sahni from Tamasha, where I played the younger version of Ranbir Kapoor’s character. That role holds a special place in my heart for so many reasons.
Firstly, it was my first major role in a big film, which made the experience even more significant. I learned a lot during the shoot—not just about acting, but about life as well. Working under the direction of Imtiaz Ali and alongside Ranbir Kapoor was an incredible experience. Both of them were so supportive and inspiring, and I absorbed so much from them during the process.
The bonds I formed on that set remain strong to this day. In fact, Imtiaz sir and Ranbir bhaiya still message me on WhatsApp during special occasions, which means a lot to me. The memories from Tamasha will always be cherished, and playing Ved was truly one of the most fun and fulfilling experiences of my career.
Q. What’s the most valuable lesson you have learned from working with renowned directors and actors in the industry?
The most valuable lesson I have learned from working with experienced directors and actors is the importance of discipline and perseverance. Acting is an art form that demands constant effort, dedication, and resilience.
On every set I have been a part of, I have witnessed the same thing—no matter what obstacles arise, the directors and actors keep pushing forward to achieve the best possible outcome. There are long hours, unpredictable challenges, and moments of exhaustion, but true professionals never give up. Their passion and commitment to their craft are truly inspiring.
From my experience, I have learned that if you truly love something, you have to keep going despite the difficulties. Success in any field, especially in the entertainment industry, does not come easy, but with determination and hard work, it is possible to achieve your dreams. For me, that passion is acting, and I am committed to giving it my all, no matter what.
Q. What’s next for you? Are there any exciting projects in the pipeline that your fans should look forward to?

As for future projects, I am also working on a web series, which I am really excited about. I can’t reveal too much just yet, but I will be sharing more details—including the platform it will be released on—in the coming months on my social media.
