"I always like to tell myself that these are some anonymous people without an identity sharing that opinions or dumping their negativity, which I believe doesn't deserve my time and attention."

Q. What inspired you to start sharing your life and fashion journey on Instagram?

To begin with, I was always fascinated by people presenting bits and pieces of their lives on Instagram. It seemed like a digital diary to me, and I was drawn towards capturing even mundane moments.

That's where it all started back in 2022. I remember gifting an iPhone to myself from my first salary, and after that, I posted a lot of mini vlogs without being aware that it had some potential opportunity.

Initially, I always did it to showcase my creative skills and exhibit my love for fashion, as well. It's basically my love for things that I couldn't pursue professionally. Casually just experimenting with one of my office outfit videos, it started gaining a lot of attention from people, and that's where my content took a pivot, and then I started taking it a bit seriously, that okay people on this platform really admire what I do!

Q. How do you stay authentic while also trying to grow your audience?

I believe that always give your audience something valuable and something that they followed your account for. That's my only thought while creating content: to be able to deliver something meaningful to my audience.

I believe that's the only way to stay relevant and a little something that could add some meaning to their lives. In my case, shopping, beauty, or lifestyle-related recommendations.

Q. How would you describe your personal style in three words?

I'd like to describe my style as something that makes me feel confident, moreover, enhances my personality, speaks a bit about myself, and of course, has to be realistic and comfortable.

Q. How do you approach brand collaborations, and what makes a good partnership for you?

So, it's mainly brands reaching out for collaborations, and I am always drawn to the products; if it resonates with me, then I obviously go ahead and recommend it to my audience.

Honestly, I just look for product utility and creative freedom in the first place; if a brand can provide you that, then it's definitely a complete green flag for me.

Q. What advice would you give to someone trying to turn content creation into a full-time gig?

Be yourself first, and don't be afraid to post anything, even if you think it's cringe or not relevant.  Forget about numbers initially and just focus on delivering quality content, because at this stage, you're doing it for yourself.

But just do not get into it thinking it's all gold and a lot of money, because that's just a big fad, and in the end, remember everything works out for everyone.

Q. Have you ever faced negativity or trolling online? How do you deal with it?

Yes, I had to face a lot of trolls coming my way, making fun of my job, my salary, and the kind of clothes I wore.

But I always like to tell myself that these are some anonymous people without an identity sharing that opinions or dumping their negativity, which I believe doesn't deserve my time and attention.
