Shikhar Chaudhary Interview
Spirituality its karma. In science every action has an equal and opposite reaction and in psychology it's a cognitive behavior loop so my approach is a fusion of everything.
Q. Tell us the story behind 'The Shikhshit Talks.' What moment pushed you from learning about mindset to build a platform around it?
It happend in a flow, I believe its a god given project to me or you may say universe given project to me, while building my another startup after cracking the competitive examination in 2021 an idea came to my mind that after making my startup big I will start teaching people what I have learnt the hard way.
So as my name is Shikhar, the name the Shikhshit Talks came to me while meditating and same with the logo when my startup failed and I lost the money I was down and out and somehow went to Neem Karoli Baba and there god gave me the signal, now just post what you have learnt so far and that video went viral in the end of 2023.
Q. You work with tools ranging from NLP to manifestation. How do you decide which framework psychological or spiritual, a person actually needs?
So on Youtube when I make the videos I keep one thing in mind that I have to teach the general audience about every aspect of that topic be it spirituality, be it psychology, be it in a scientific way when a person comes to me for a call, I teach them in a 360 degree way because it's all one, psychological spiritual and science.
For example in spirituality its karma, in science its every action has an equal and opposite reaction and in psychology its a cognitive behavior loop. So my approach is a fusion of everything.
Q. You often speak about reprogramming the subconscious mind. What is one subconscious pattern that silently limits most people, and one simple daily exercise to interrupt it?
One pattern I see in most of the people is that they think they know a thing. People say that they learnt it in childhood. In reality, they don't know anything. They just hear something and think they know it. What it does is that humans stop learning. This is called learning ego. When humans stop learning, they get stuck in the loop of their past reprogramming.
To break it you need to ask yourself daily that the things you believe in, what is the source of that knowledge. This will lead to breaking of old beliefs and creation of new ones.
Q. Many creators now sell coaching and courses. What’s one red flag people should look for before choosing a mindset or life coach?
I am glad that you asked this question. The biggest red flag is if a so called 'coach' is telling you that he will help you manifest any materialistic thing. We don't manifest materialistic thing, we make that identity which is comfortable in those materialistic things because manifestation is the game of identity shift. It is purpose driven.
If you are choosing any coach, any mentor; just check their long form videos. If it is freely available on YouTube or is it only on Instagram. If its only on Instagram then he/she is a red flag because many coaches tell the people that they manifested this, and all that is again materialistic. Few of these coaches are my students.
Q. Your 'Shikhshit Code' and 'Magnetic Mind' programs promise practical rewiring. What are three micro-habits someone can start tomorrow to genuinely shift their mindset?
You have done a wonderful work in researching. The Shikhshit Code is my baby. It is one of the finest courses of mine which is 80 hours long, so the three micro habits are:
1. Don't use your phone first thing in the morning because brain is in beta state and it will lead to a bad start to the day. Fiirst thing in the morning should be to take deep breaths. I practice Bhramri and after that I write good things about myself and my loved ones.
2nd habit is stop eating junk food because it will mess up with your gut, which stores your hormones which are responsible for your feelings and emotions. Feelings are the most important in manifestations.
The third habit is to start learning from the Shikshit Code.
Q. Manifestation attracts both believers and skeptics. How do you balance evidence-based practices with the metaphysical language that your audience connects with?
Manifestation attracts both believers and skeptics and honestly, that’s the beauty of it. I don’t see manifestation as ‘pure metaphysics’ or ‘pure science.’ I see it as a bridge. On one side, there is evidence-based psychology things like the Reticular Activating System, cognitive reframing, self-fulfilling prophecy, and behavioural conditioning.
These explain how your thoughts shape your perception, your actions, and ultimately your results. On the other side, there is the language of energy and possibility the metaphors, the symbolism, the spiritual vocabulary that people emotionally connect with.
This language doesn’t just inform the mind; it inspires the heart. And real transformation happens only when both mind and heart are aligned. So I balance both by doing this: I explain the mechanism through science and the experience through metaphysics. Science tells you why it works. Spiritual language tells you how it feels when it works. People don’t change because of data they change because of meaning. And manifestation gives them both:a psychological framework to rewire the mind, and a metaphysical language to elevate the soul.
My job is not to convert skeptics or please believers. My job is to translate transformation in a language every human can understand logic for the mind, and symbolism for the heart.
Q. You speak a lot about distraction, especially among young people. What is one foundational habit every teenager should build to avoid mental drift in a hyper-digital world?
People aren't distracted they aren't aligned with their higher self or in short I say they havent have any clarity about life what they want and what they don't want for example if a man is hungry then he can go to any limit to eat something. There is no habit but there is a mental model or a mental framework that, death is coming.
Q. Your consultations range from short clarity calls to deep-dive sessions. How do you measure real transformation for clients, what does success look like?
The people who take long consultations with me they are connected to me so they keep on telling me their improvements.
Q. People often share success stories, but failures teach more. Can you share a time when a mindset technique didn’t work and what you learned from that experience?
I see this world in a different way for me success and failure don't exist there is only one thing that is evolving human should be focusing on evolving rather than success and failures, and you will be surprised to know that failures don't exist in this world.
Why? Because when you are born you had nothing no clothes, no money just blank after that you have so many things you started from zero and now you are somewhere so you cannot fail even if you try.
Q. Your short-form videos simplify big concepts in under 60 seconds. What’s one storytelling or production trick you use to make heavy ideas easy to grasp?
Flow state. You should be in a flow state and you should be believing in the things which you are teaching.
Q. As coaching intersects with technology, how do you see AI shaping personalized mindset transformation in the next few years? Are there risks that concern you?
I am a monomanical optimist for AI. I am not concerned about AI. Most of my work flow is done by AI, be it replying to messages, consultations and bookings. AI and tech will help me to reach to the world by destroying the language barriers and decreasing in friction in work flow
Q. Ethics matter in the self-improvement industry. When does it become irresponsible for a coach to promise outcomes like wealth or healing? How do you maintain honesty in your messaging?
Yeah thats very beautiful question now a days thats the biggest concern for me that coaches are promising a static result which is not possible because there are many people who come to me and say that they have been cheated by a coach. I dont tell people that they will get something. I will make sure they become a person who is purposeful, who has some meaning in life.
Q. What three books, thinkers, or podcasts have most influenced your understanding of mindset, and why?
I will go with three easy books Power of Subconscious Mind, Almanac of Naval Ravikant, You Can Win by Shiv Khera. I read and follow Osho, Socrates , Jordan Peterson, and sometimes the Geeta.
Q. If you could have a conversation with your 18-year-old mind for exactly 60 seconds, what’s the one sentence you would deliver?
Whatever you are doing is correct. Whatever will happen will also be good and whatever is happening is also good, just stay Shikshit
