Parveen Kumar Interview
“How Parveen Kumar rebuilt his tech career again and again until consistency finally paid off.”
Q. Who was Parveen before Almighty Tech, and how did your tech journey begin?
My name is Parveen Kumar. I’m a Punjabi boy from Firozpur, Punjab, and I’ve completed my graduation. I’ve always had a deep interest in technology. When I bought my first computer, I wasn’t satisfied with just using it normally. I wanted to understand how everything worked, how Windows is installed, how software works, and how changing things inside a system affects performance.Friends used to come to me for any computer-related help. In 2016, I started a YouTube channel called Ginny Tech. At that time, I had no idea that YouTube could generate income. I was simply uploading videos about computers and software, often on a 2G internet connection. Uploading a single video used to take hours.
Later, I learned about AdSense and monetisation, and in 2018, I earned from YouTube for the first time. Alongside this, I had a private job with a very low salary. Slowly, sponsorships started coming in, and monthly YouTube income became stable.

That’s when I quit my job to focus completely on content creation. But in 2021, my entire channel got suspended. That moment changed everything. Things got so bad that I had to think twice before spending even ₹10. That was the start of my lowest phase.
That moment made me realise that people were genuinely interested in my way of explaining things. After that, I started focusing more on phone reviews and gadget-related content. It wasn't just about uploading videos anymore; it was about understanding what people actually wanted to know before buying or using tech.
Testing makes it very clear whether an app is practical or just hype. I never recommend something just because it’s trending. If it doesn’t add value, I don’t post about it. My audience trusts me because I don’t promote things blindly.
Q. When did you realize people actually enjoyed learning tech from you?
The turning point came when the Redmi Note 5 Pro launched. One of my friends bought the phone, and I borrowed it to make a review video. I uploaded it on YouTube, and that video crossed 100,000 views. That moment made me realise that people were genuinely interested in my way of explaining things. It wasn't just about uploading videos anymore; it was about understanding what people actually wanted to know before buying or using tech.
Q. How do you decide what apps or tools are genuinely useful and not just trending?
Whenever I review an app, I test it myself first. If I feel that the app is genuinely useful and solves a real problem for my audience, only then do I share it.Testing makes it very clear whether an app is practical or just hype. I never recommend something just because it’s trending. If it doesn’t add value, I don’t post about it. My audience trusts me because I don’t promote things blindly.
Q. For people who feel they’re “bad with technology,” how should they start?
Today, learning technology is much easier than before. If someone doesn’t have much tech knowledge but wants to learn, they should start by following and subscribing to tech creators. Watching videos about new phones and gadgets regularly builds understanding over time. And now, tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, articles, and online guides make learning even simpler. You don’t need to be an expert from day one. You just need curiosity and consistency.
My YouTube career has been full of struggles. My Ginny Tech channel, with 150,000 subscribers and over 1,200 videos, got suspended. I had put years of hard work into it. I then created a movie explanation channel; it also got suspended after six months. I tried a facts channel, which failed. Another movie channel lost monetization due to copyright issues. Each time, it felt like starting from zero.
Finally, I created Almighty Tech, and this time things started working. My Instagram account also began performing well. Brands now send phones for reviews, some paid, some barter, some return-based. I also run a website, thealmightytech.com, which receives good traffic. I’ve built a strong community with 40K+ followers on Telegram and 10K+ on WhatsApp.
Q. You’ve faced multiple setbacks. What kept you going instead of quitting?

Today, things are stable, not perfect, but stable. This journey taught me that if you keep working honestly on YouTube and social media, good earnings and growth are possible.
