Q. For readers meeting you for the first time, who is Shrusti Naik beyond the Instagram profile?

Beyond Instagram, I'm someone who's deeply curious about people, emotions, and experiences. I enjoy finding beauty in ordinary moments and understanding the stories behind them.

In real life, I'm much quieter than I appear online, but the thoughts, emotions, and values I share through my content are genuine reflections of who I am.

Q. Was there a specific moment when you realized people were connecting with your content on a larger scale?

Content has always been about building a sense of community for me. That's the reason I've continued sharing my work regardless of numbers or performance.

The realization didn't come through one defining moment—it happened gradually. It became clear when complete strangers began reaching out to tell me they related to something I'd posted or that a piece of content made them feel understood. Those conversations mattered far more than any metric.

Q. Your page captures everything from moods and selfies to food and everyday moments. What makes a moment "post-worthy" for you?

A moment becomes post-worthy when it makes me feel something.

If an experience feels authentic and carries even the smallest story or emotion, it naturally finds its way onto my page. For me, it's never about how extraordinary a moment looks—it's about how honestly it reflects life.

Q. What's one lesson you've learned from the internet that surprisingly applies to real life as well?

One lesson stands out above everything else: authenticity has a much longer shelf life than perfection.

People connect with honesty wherever they encounter it—whether online or offline. Being genuine builds stronger, more meaningful relationships, whether you're speaking to an audience, your friends, or your family.

Q. Looking back, what would today's Shrusti tell the version of herself before her first viral post?

I'd simply tell her she's doing a great job.

And whenever she feels lost or overwhelmed, I'd remind her to go back to the reason she started creating in the first place. Staying connected to that purpose is far more important than chasing numbers.

Q. If your life were a movie, what would the title be, and what song would play during the opening scene?

The title would be Dead Fish because my philosophy has always been to go with the flow rather than fight every current.

The opening song would be "The Show Must Go On" by Queen. No matter what life throws at you, you have to keep showing up for the things that truly matter.
