1. Tell us about your role and responsibilities at college.

I am the Contingent Leader and the Street Director of my theatre society- Kranti.

Talking about my roles and responsibilities, my main role is to take my team to different colleges for competition, signing up for the same.

Being a contingent leader my responsibility is also to maintain a professional bond with different societies and with our college faculties too.

Also I direct and write our street plays' script too.

2. How did you rise up to your position and how can a student aspiring the same approach to it?

My seniors found me more street smart. Moreover for this position they wanted a person who can maintain the professional bond with others.

Well I guess if a student is aspiring for the same, first of all he/she needs to join a particular theater society for it, because I personally feel theater brings out the best in you. And who knows what kind of person is hiding inside you.

3. What's it like to juggle between leadership role and normal college life?

Well to be honest I found it very interesting and challenging.

Being in a I.P. college and a part of society, is very tough. Because you need to manage both, your academics and your cultural activities.

4. What are the top skills that you have learnt with what you do?

I can handle pressure more easily than ever. Also I feel I am more creative, responsible, and I'm also good in managing inter personal relations.

5. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

College is not only about academics. My message for every student is to indulge in co curricular activities too. Because co curricular actually helps you to find out that what you want to be and what you actually are. So shoot for it.
